T.W.: hospital, talk of car accident, brief mental of alchohol

Thomas and Augustus were walking out of the hospital lobby after a checkup for Augustus's back. Then some paramedics rushed by with a boy covered in blood.

"Wait, was that..?" Augustus paused.

"Dad!" Virgil cried, running up and throwing his arms around Thomas.

"Virge? What happened?" Thomas asked, hugging the boy back.

Virgil just shook his head, falling to the floor and bringing Thomas down with him.

"Are you Virgils parents?" A paramedic asked, walking up to them.

"Yes, we are." Thomas said, "what happened?"

"Your sons boyfriend got hit by a car." The paramedic explained.

"Oh no..." Augustus whispered, "will he be okay?"

The paramedic shrugged, "I honestly dont know. Witnesses say it was a hit and run, possibly drunk driving."

Augustus nodded, "have you contacted Percy's parents yet?"

The paramedic shook her head, "Not yet, Percy's phone was crushed and Virgil was had a panic attack."

Thomas squeezed Virgil a little tighter after hearing that.

"Okay, we can give you their number." Augustus said.

"You can call them yourself and inform the doctors." the paramedic explained, "I have to get going now."

Thomas and Augustus nodded. When Virgils crying had slowed down enough where he could talk, he started to explain what happened.

"We were going to the park or ice cream." Virgil sniffed, "we were crossing the street and it just came out of nowhere. Percy saw it first and pushed me out of the way."

"I'm so sorry Virge." Thomas hugged his son.

"No, mom, it's this way." A boy who looked like Percy scoffed, pulling a woman over to the desk.

"Oh, right, right." The woman, who Virgil recognized as Percy's mom, nodded.

Once the two had talked to the secretary and moved to the waiting area, they spotted Thomas, Augustus, and Virgil.

"Thomas! Gust!" The woman said, rushing over, "have you heard any news on Percy?"

"Hi Celine, and no, we haven't." Thomas sighed.

Celine sighed and sat down in one of the chairs, "well, we'll just have to wait a while then. How are you doing dear?"

Virgil shrugged, "I-im a little shaken up."

"Well yeah. That's got to be terrifying." The other boy said.

Virgil nodded.

"Oh, you guys haven't met Percy's twin, have you?" Celine said.

Thomas and Augustus shook their heads.

"I'm Giovanni." The boy said.

"I'm Thomas." He smiled.

"I'm Augustus, Thomas's fiance." Augustus nodded, "it's nice to meet you, however I wish it was under better circumstance.

Just then, a nurse walked over, "are you the group here for Percy?"

"Yes!" Celine nodded, standing up.

"Right this way then." The nurse smiled.

The families were lead into a hospital room. Percy was laying on the bed, his arm in a cast and bandages all over him.

"Oh, hey guys." Percy turned his head to them, giving a small smile.

Virgil choked on a sob when he saw his boyfriend.

"Virge, its okay." Percy smiled and reached for the boy.

Virgil nodded and took his hand.

"How are you feeling?" Celine asked, carding her fingers through her sons hair.

"Well they drugged me up so I'm kinda out of it." Percy laughed lightly.

"No pain?" Celine asked.

Percy shook his head.

Celine sighed, "okay."

"Virge? Are you okay?" Percy asked, squeezing the boys hand.

Virgil nodded, "I was so scared."

"I know. But in okay, okay?" Person said.

Virgil nodded, hugging Percy as tight as he could without causing him pain.

"I'm okay Virge." Percy sighed, hugging his boyfriend back, "I'm okay."
