So which way is the wind blowin', and what does your heart say?

So follow, follow the sun, and which way the wind blows when this day is done.

"Gulf...hey".

Gulf started complaining because he was sleeping so well and didn't want to wake up. It had been a long time since he had someone to sleep next to. He and Mew, well, they had fallen asleep many times together since they knew each other. However, all seemed new to Gulf now. In that very moment, Mew was stroking his hair and Gulf couldn't help but smile like an idiot. "You're not going to convince me like that. I'm still tired." Mew laughed because of his sleepy voice, which he found adorable. "Don't you think I spoiled you enough? My shoulder's kinda sore".

Gulf immediately raised his head, feeling guilty: "Oh, I'm sorry. I can..." but Mew was laughing again. Clearly, he was making fun of him and Gulf did not have the strength yet to react properly. "I'm just kidding, come here". Mew held him tight, looking down on him with his charming smile. "Yes, but...I can't really focus if you're looking at me like that". Mew raised an eyebrow, surprised. "And how am I looking at you?" Gulf patted his chest as a reply but then he noticed that Mew was still waiting for an answer. "Oh please, you totally know the effect you have on people". Seeing him smiling even brighter, he instantly regretted saying it. He didn't want to sound lame or whatever. "But you know what?" Mew came closer, brushing his lips on his ear. Gulf held his breath, waiting for him to keep going. "I only care about what you think".

"Long time no see, MewGulf". Mild's voice made Gulf scream, right into Mew's ear. Run laughed out loud and Kao slapped his shoulder. "You two have no shame at all. Let them sleep". Mild just blew him off and pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Are you kidding? This is good stuff for the fandom. They already love me but if I post this..." Gulf stood up, flushed. "You're dead". After saying that, he started chasing him, while the others were recording the whole thing. "Why, Gulf? We could make so much money..." Mew was almost crying from all the laughing but decided to stop Gulf's chasing, grabbing him from behind. "Easy there". Mild pointed at Mew, pretending to be offended. "You see? Mew doesn't care about my wellbeing". Mew rolled his eyes, smiling. "That's because you're usually the one causing troubles".

Tong came forward, handing them their towel. "It's time to go home, guys. And you, Mild, don't sulk. Tomorrow it's going to be a long day at work". Gulf was a little sad, because this trip felt like a dream and he didn't want to wake up from it. He and Mew didn't talk much – actually, they spent most of the night kissing – so Gulf did not know how they were supposed to act, now that they were getting back to the real world. He felt Mew's stare on him, probably noticing his dull smile. "Yeah, let me help you with that, or Mild will break it for sure".

After about half an hour, they had loaded their backpacks in their cars, and they were ready to go. Gulf quickly got into Tong's car, while Mild was still teasing Mew about something. Gulf closed his eyes, relaxing a little bit. He felt someone sitting next to him and Tong starting the car. He also recognized Kao's voice from the other passenger seat. "He's exhausted, uh?" Tong took a look at the car mirror, so Gulf opened his eyes, smiling slightly. "Sorry, I'm just used to sleep a lot". He blushed because he was the youngest between them and somehow the most tired. "Don't worry about it".

In the meantime, Kao turned on the radio at a reasonable volume so Tong wouldn't fall asleep while driving. Gulf was going back to sleep but then he felt the light touch of Mew's hand on his. He was casually looking out of the window, but his gesture was deliberate. Gulf was caught off guard, while Mew kept on carassing the back of his hand with his thumb. After checking that no one was paying attention to them, Gulf took courage and held his hand tight, interlocking their fingers. Mew smiled shyly, staying like this the entire time.

Once at home, Gulf ran to take a relaxing bath to wash off the fatigue of the past few days. When he finally managed to lie down, he noticed he had some notifications on his phone. He quickly unlocked the screen and opened the message folder. When he read the message, Gulf knew he had that stupid grin on his face:

"I miss you already. What did you do to me?".

Gulf waited ten minutes before answering. He knew he was being stupid, because how could he sound clingy, when Mew was the one who wrote him first? But Gulf was past trying to understand his own logic.

"I haven't done anything. Maybe I'm just that irresistible".

Gulf laughed, while sending the message. Were they flirting now?

"That's probably also true. However, I still think you got me under your spell or something".

Seriously, Gulf had to stop giggling like a little girl, rolling on the bed with his hair still wet.

"So? What you're gonna do about it? You want to be released?".

Gulf patiently waited for almost twenty minutes for a reply, kicking himself for writing something like that. Maybe he really wanted to not feel anything for him. Gulf turned off the lights, sighing. Then, when he was about to fall asleep, the phone's screen lit up. Gulf quickly took his phone in his hands, faster than he wanted to admit:

"Never. Sweet dreams, tîi rák".
