Raven lay in her bed, sound asleep, though, it wasn't a peaceful sleep. She tossed and turned. She was having a nightmare, of what, she wasn't sure. she woke up screaming. This caused her brother, Ryan to run in with some of the pack.
"Raven!?" he asked startled and tense.
Ryan and three other males walked into her room. Raven looked up. She saw her brother, he was shirtless. He sat on the bed next to her and pulled her into his arms. Raven held onto her brother. She looked up at the other males. She knew who they were. Bryan, Zane, and Marcus. They were standing around, tense.
"Is she alright Alpha?" Marcus asked in my brother's head through mind link.
Ryan nodded. "You'll be alright Raven. It was just a nightmare."
Raven nodded. "Sorry I woke you guys."
"It's alright Ray. We don't mind. You're the Alpha's sister and we've known you for a long time. You're all of ours little sister. Hell you're the pup of the pack." Bryan chuckled.
Bryan was the Beta of the pack and my brother's best friend. He had sandy brown hair and gorgeous green eyes, but he had a mate. Raven didn't really care though, she only thought of him as a brother. He was also shirtless, most of the male wolves around the pack house were shirtless. Raven didn't really know why, but she had grown up seeing it, so it was normal to her.
"I hope I didn't inturrupt anything." Raven said, looking at her brother and Bryan, who were both wearing boxers, not to mention they were backwards.
Bryan blushed lightly and chuckled. Ryan glanced at his boxers and blushed a little. Raven giggled. She had only seen her brother blush about three times before.
"U-Uhm..." Ryan stuttered a little.
"It's okay Ry. You can go back to bed. I'll be fine." Raven assured him.
Ryan looked at her worriedly. "Are you sure? I could tell Lacey that you ne-"
"No Ry. Lacey is your mate and I'm pretty sure she doesn't want you to be away from her. I mean after all you are expecting a pup." she said.
Ryan sighed and got up. Bryan, Zane, and Marcus waited for him to leave before following him out. Marcus lingered for a second looking back at Raven before leaving and closing the door.
Raven sighed and crawled under her blankets again. She yawned and rubbed her eyes. She looked out her window at the moon and sighed.
"I hope I sleep well. I'm tired of nightmares..." Raven whispered softly to nothing as she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Ryan's Point of View
He was worried about his sister as he walked back to his room. He sighed as he opened his door and looked at his sleeping mate. Lacey was his everything, but so was his sister, and lately she had been having nightmares non-stop for the past month. She would wake up screaming or she would wake up crying. He walked over to his bed and got in, pulling his mate closer, he closed his eyes.
"I hope she will be okay." he thought to himself and closed his eyes.
He didn't fall back to sleep. He stayed awake, listening for his sister. He didn't hear her, so he slowly allowed himself to go to sleep, but his sleep was restlesss. He dreamt of his parents. He remember the night his mother had been murdered. He was only fourteen when it happened, which means Raven was twelve, his mother was trying to protect her cubs. Ryan stood behind her, he was a small grey wolf and him and his mother were surrounded by rogues. His mother grabbed him back the scruff of his neck and threw him into the trees. He landed with a yelp and found a small hole. He crawled into it and watched as his mother was torn apart by rogues.
He started to cry in his sleep, causing Lacey to wake up and shake him worriedly.
"Baby? Baby? Are you alright?" she asked, her voice filled with worry.
Ryan sat up. He wiped his eyes. "I'm alright."
"Why were you crying?" she asked.
"Babe. Relax. Don't stress yourself out or the baby will get stressed." he kissed his mate's forehead.
She sighed. "Was it your mother's death?"
Ryan winced slightly and nodded.
Lacey hugged him. "I'm sorry." she whispered.
"It's not your fault Lace. Go back to sleep." he lay her down and laid down with her.
Soon she was asleep and he was holding her. He sighed softly and closed his eyes.
