A/N: I love that I have one person who always reads as soon as I update this story. It makes me feel special :) Thank you to that one person I wish I knew who you were! Sorry the last chapter was so short. I'm scared that Wattpad will delete my writing. I'll try to make it longer this time.
Ryan's Point of View.
"We need to talk." I told my sister.
I felt her wolf flinch, my wolf must've snapped at her wolf. I was upset with her right now. She had been acting weird since yesterday, I didn't know why, but I was going to get to the bottom of it. She smelled different to me. Her scent had changed. This didn't make my wolf happy. I led her to the main part of her room and made her sit on the bed.
"What is wrong with you? You're acting strange." I growled.
"I-I'm sorry." she said.
"No. Tell me what's wrong with you. Why has your scent changed?" I asked.
"I don't know! I don't know why! My wolf is saying I've found mate! I don't know what's going on with me anymore!" my sister yelled at me and broke down into tears.
This stunned me. I haven't seen my sister cry since our mother was killed. I wasn't sure what to do. I sat next to her and pulled her into my arms.
"I'm sorry Ray. I'm just worried about you. I don't know why, but my wolf is becoming more protective of you." I told her.
She sniffled.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you like that." I told her.
"I-It's okay." she sniffled.
"So...uhm... do I have to tell you what heat is or d-" she cut me off.
"Lacey told me." she told me.
"Okay that's good. I don't have to explain that. And what about your wolf saying you found your mate?" I asked.
"Well... I heard you and Tyler talking and I heard when Tyler said that the Rogue Alpha wanted me to see if I was his mate... so I asked Bryan to tell me about him, my would said Mate. My wolf is mates with the Alpha of the Rogues." when I heard her say that I started to shake.
I stood.
"I FORBID YOU FROM GOING INTO THE FOREST! I FORBID YOU FROM FIGHTING THE ROGUES!" I yelled.
This caused my sister to burst into tears, but right now I didn't care. I was shaking in rage as I left her room, slamming the door behind me.
Raven's Point of View.
I sat there, tears pouring down my face. How could my brother be like that? I've never seen him shake like that. I just sat there and cried, while my wolf howled in sadness. I was still stunned that my brother yelled at me. I took my towel off, not caring anymore. I stood and went out my window, looking back one last time before jumping out and shifting. I landed on the ground and looked back at the pack house. I shook my head and took off running. My vision was blurred with tears. I felt my bond with my pack weaken. I ran until my wolf was begging me to stop, but I pushed on, trying to get away from my pack as fast as I could. I ran until I passed on in the middle of I don't know where.
When I woke up I was in a warm bed and in clothes. I opened my eyes and looked around. The room wasn't mine, so my pack hadn't found me. I sniffed around. It didn't smell like other wolves, so I must be with humans, or something else.
I got up and put my feet on the floor. I stood and the floor creaked. I froze as I heard footsteps coming the the stairs and to the door, the door opened and a short woman was standing there. She had a pixie cut and blue eyes. She smiled at me.
"Oh you're awake." she said happily. "Would you like some food deary?"
"U-Uh sure." I managed.
She smiled and took my hand and led me out of the room and down the stairs.
"Blaine! She's awake." the woman said.
A tall male came out of the kitchen and smiled down at me. "Well it's good to see you aren't hurt. We found you passed out in the woods, completely naked, we hoped you were alright. And you were, you just had a few minor scraps and bruises."
I smiled slightly. "Thank you for making sure I was alright. My name is Raven."
"I'm Blaine and this is Sylvia." Blaine said and pointed to the short woman holding my hand.
"It's nice to meet you both." I bowed my head slightly, showing respect.
Blaine chuckled. "Sweety you don't have to bow. We are of no special pack. We are just Vampires."
"V-Vampires? Real live vampires?" I stammered.
Sylvia nodded. "But we won't hurt you. You are a very nice wolf. Tell us dear, where did you come from?"
"I ran away from my pack." I said, looking at the ground.
"Why on earth would you do that?" Sylvia asked, sitting down.
I sat down next to her and Blaine leaned on the wall.
"I-It's a complicated story." I told them.
"We have time to listen." Blaine told me.
I sighed and started my story.
"So then my brother forbid me to see my so called mate and I was hurt. So I ran and ran until I passed out in the forest. Then I woke up in the bed and in the house." I finished.
"Wow that is quite a long story. And a sad one." Sylvia said.
I nodded.
"Well what are you going to do know that you've run away?" Blaine asked.
"Find my mate. But I have to make sure my brother won't find me. May I stay here?" I asked.
"Of course!" Syliva said.
Blaine chuckled. "She considers you her child now. You're always welcome here Raven."
I smiled and hugged them both. "Thank you so much."
"You're welcome." they both said.
