Jack POV- I texted Andy (hey what time is your appointment) (8:30) (ok I'm on my way now.) I drove to her house and I waited I looked at my side mirror and saw Nia walking to the car {damn it} I thought. She knocked on my window "hey jack what you doing here" "umm just waiting for Andy" "oh where you to going" " nowhere just dropping her off somewhere" "hey this might be to forward but do you want to get coffee some time" "uh...... yeah sure" "great hey what's your number" I gave her my number and she said "I'll see you soon" then Andy walked out the house and got in the car and Nia walked away "what was that about" "oh nothing she just ask about you and asked me if we could get a cup of coffee some time" "oh coffee didn't know you to were friendly" I thought to myself {Andy it's always been you I want you} "no it's not like that she just asked I couldn't say no" "I wasn't expecting you to but that should be a fun pair" she laughed and so did I "shut up" I drove her to her appointment and waited for her to finish when I got a text from Nia (hey does tomorrow work for you) I figured she was just trying to make friends seeing that she's new (yeah sure what time) (7:00) (yeah that works see you then) the time passes and Andy knocks on the window I unlock the door and let her in "so how did it go" "oh you know the usual I went trough a traumatic experience and all the people I lost throughout the year" " Andy that stuff is serious" "I know but I already worked all that crap out a while ago. Can we talk about something else" "sure I have a coffee date tomorrow" " a date date?" "No I just think she wants to make friends" " sure you have fun with that" "yeah yeah well you want to get something to eat" "yes please I'm starving" we got to Andy's favorite place to eat and she ordered her usual " so how are things going with the captain" she looked at me and raised an eyebrow "what I'm asking as a friend not a jealous ex" she didn't say anything "ok how are the babies "their good their healthy, happy what more could I ask for" "that's good" "do you know when you can come back to work" "My PT doc says that I'm doing better then they expected so I should be up an running by next month if I'm lucky" "knowing you you'll be back before than" we laughed and talked some more and when we finished I bought her back home "hey jack" " yeah" "thanks for taking me" "no problem any time" she got out the car and my eyes didn't leave her till she walked inside"
Robert POV- I pulled Andy to our room and I closed the door "Robert what are you doing" "me and you are going to talk no arguing no walking out, we are going to talk." "About what" "Andy I'm worried please just tell me what's going on with you" she didn't say anything for a little then she spoke " I haven't slept in days I keep having this nightmare about" she paused about what Andy " me getting shot and when I get shot in my dream the pain I feel when I wake up..." " Andy why didn't you tell me this before" I already told you why it's the way you look at me. I hate it!" I didn't know what to say to her I couldn't understand what she was going through the pain she was going through. "Are you talking to someone about it" "yeah my therapists and a friend" "and are you working through it" "yeah I'm trying" then we heard Elena crying "I'll get her" and Andy left the room. I went to the kitchen to get some food and I bumped into Nia "hey so I'm going for coffee with jack tomorrow so I can't watch the babies" "with jack, when did that happen?" I said laughing "This morning when he came by the house, we exchanged numbers" "why was he here" "uh I think he was picking up Andy, I don't know" "ok well have fun" I walked away and thought to myself {I thought Andy had therapy today and if she did why didn't she ask me to take her}
Nia POV- I was starting work soon and I needed to have someone in my corner and Jack was the only one who comes around plus it doesn't hurt that he's hot so I asked him if he wanted to get coffee I was surprised that he said yes.
Robert asked me about jack and I told him I saw him this morning he asked how and I told him, I didn't think it was a secret I thought Andy told him.
