Memories can fade if you don't keep them. Even though how painful they are, remembering was the way to learn.

so far remembrance I keep my memories in a diary. Call me old fashioned but I am centuries old so this is not that old.

Are you sure you want to learn my secrets?

Here we go, I must warn you, this story is not for faint heart.

Ninth Century, An English Village:

It was a overcast on a warm spring day. Trees sway in the wind. A field with flourishing crops is in the distance, chickens and goats wander.

My mother had a long brown hair,  she was washing clothes, she was around the age, 25. The house we lived was made of wood, mud and hay. She wears a smile peasant dress.

Jane, Alec and I were playing with each other in circles, laughing. We all had the same blue eyes that we got from our mother. All three of us had brown hair.

Me and Jane were wearing plain dress, Alec has on a tunic and pants.

A man in his mid 20's approaches us. He was chalky pale with black eyes and shoulder-length jet black hair. He was charming 2000+ years old vampire. This man's name was Aro. He was wearing nobleman attire and is very proper. Aro smiles at Mother and glaces at Jane, Alec and I.

'Pardon me for the intrusion, but are these your children?' Aro asked.

Mother stands to look at Aro as Jane and Alec scurry behind her. I stand in front of mother. The twins peak out from either side. They look at Aro with curiosity. I was staring at him with uncertainty.

'Why, yes, they are,' said Mother as she hugs us closely.

'You have an older child and twins, perchance?' Aro asked, as he leans in.

'Yes,' said Mother.

'Delightful! I've never encountered, such beautiful children in all my travel,' said Aro.

Aro motions to Me, Jane and Alec.

'You may find this odd, but may I make their acquaintance?' Aro asked.

'I-I suppose there's no harm in that,' said Mother, taken aback, but faltered.

Mother put her hands on Jane and Alec and nudges them to get behind me.

'The oldest is Veronica,' said Mother. 'This is Jane and Alec'. As she points to us.

'I have never met any children so lovely as them,' said Aro.

Aro kneels down in front of the children.

'It is my pleasure to meet you. My name is Aro,' said Aro.

Aro offers his hand towards Alec. Alec reluctantly takes it. Aro closes his eyes just a few second and grins. He turns towards me as I give my hand with caution but still I was curious about him. Aro's expression changed completely he was amazed when he closed his eyes. Alec buries himself to me but still he peaks through, still curious.

Aro offers his hand to Jane, she takes it without hesitation. Aro again closes his eyes for a few seconds to read her staring at him. He opens his eyes and Jane is staring at him. Jane smiles slightly and Aro does the same.

'I think she likes you,' said Mother.

Me and Alec move towards the house but I hold my gaze at Aro.
