Yerin
I'm almost done eating my cake but there was still no sign of Umji.
While waiting for her, I decided to read the book that I just bought a few days ago to entertain myself.
Three chapters and i'm already in love with this book, as expected my favorite author never dissappoints. Totally worth buying.
Few minutes later, my phone vibrated again, receiving another text message from the girl i've been waiting for about almost an hour already.
Umji: Unnie 5 more minutes i'm almost there.
I chose not to reply and called the waitress signalling her to serve the food I ordered for Umji. I hope she'll arrive in 5 minutes like what she said before her milkshake starts to melt.

I was too engrossed with the book I was reading when I felt the sudden movement of the table. Looking up, my eyes widened in surprise when I saw Umji was already seated in front of me, drinking her milkshake. How come I didn't notice her?
"Surprise?"
"Yah. What took you so long?" I asked, putting down my book.
"About that, i'm sorry." she replied, taking another sip from her milkshake. "We're currently preparing for an event and I need to help out my employees in organizing."
"Event? For what?"
"Another book signing event. A special one." she sighed, I can see the tiredness in her eyes.
"Special?"
"Well, it will be the author's first book signing. She's really famous so we really need to put a lot of effort in preparation." she sighed again, taking a bite of her cake. "Anyway, since you have mentioned it, that's the reason why i'm here." she paused, wiping her lips with a table napkin. "Are you free today?"
"Hmm. I just need to buy some groceries, after that, i'm free." I answered.
"Good! Then let's go!" she took my hand pulling me as if she's in a hurry.
"W-wait where are we going? You didn't even finished your cake yet?"
"I'll just finished it in my office." she called the waitress and asked her to take out the cake. "Let's go?"
"Wait, you didn't answer my other question, where are we going?"
"We'll buy your groceries. I'll pay for it." she smiled, a suspicious smile.
She's gonna pay for my groceries? Tsk, this girl, I knew her well. I'm sure she just need something again in return.
"Unnie, let's go?" she said after the waitress gave her a paperbag with her cake inside.
Having no choice, I took my book and put it in my hand bag. Getting up from my seat, she took my hand again and dragged me out of the cafe.

.
.
"So what are you gonna tell me?"She took a deep breath before starting to speak.
"We will held our event in 3 days but unfortunately, our graphic designer is still sick, she wasn't able to do our poster for the event...again." she heaved a sigh. "Unnie I know your busy too and this is the second time already but–"
"Okay."
"Okay?" she threw me a confused look.
"I'll do it." I gave her a reassuring smile.
"Really?! Thank you Unnie!" she pulled me into a hug.
After buying my groceries, we went straight to her office which is located above her bookstore. And I wasn't wrong, paying for my groceries is not for free. But i'm not complaining though, I love helping her, I love helping my bestfriends as long as I can.
