Fighting for Her

Chapter 11.

Sakura

I don't like it when my friends get hurt, and yet Raven's been being picked on and beaten the past three or four months,  and it's all because of what she did to Shadow.

I feel kinda guilty and to blame for that, because I'm the one who recorded it, but Raven won't let me say sorry.

At the moment I am slightly depressed because me and Seth broke up...and he got with Luna...but I'm just glad they're happy together.

I am also in the lunch-line right now so I can get my food. Behind me, people were whispering about Raven. Not meaning to eaves drop but also wanting to know what the heck is going on, I started listening.

"So her birthday is in three days now right?"

"Yeah. Does everyone have their gifts?"

"That I know of. Wait what about her friend group?"

"We can get them in on it today."

"Wait isn't that one of them in front of us?"

One tapped my shoulder and I turned around and looked at them as if I haven't been listening.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Aren't you in Raven's friend group?" 

"Yes why?"

"Because we're all throwing a surprise party for Raven, even the teachers are in on it. Anyways could you tell the rest of them? Obviously except Raven, but still could you?"

"Yeah sure. We all love and care about Raven a lot," I replied smiling.

After I sat down with Luna Seth Draco and Charlotte they all asked what I had been talking about in the line.

"Everyone in the grade even the teachers are throwing a surprise party for Raven, and everyone's in on it except for the Group," I explained.

"Oh we're so in," they all said.

"Now we have to get her presents...wait! I know exactly what to get her heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee," Charlotte said, being weird as usual.

We laughed and throughout the day we spread the news over to everyone else in the group. Everyone was in on it, and we even told a few of her famous friends.

They agreed to show at the party (their words exactly) "Just to see our little Rav Rav."

So the three days passed and we all got the presents and set up the courtyard where the party would take place.

I had gotten Raven this adorable little stuffed animal that would help you get to sleep faster.

I don't know what everyone else got her, but I know Liz Levi Raph and Seth were competing to get her the most presents she would like or a simple one she would love (first thing was Seth and Raph second was Liz and Lee.)

Charlotte looked proud of herself so I assume she got something Raven will be obsessed with.

On Raven's birthday she was whining because she had to go to school. Eventually she got there, wearing bleached jeans and a hot pink crop top with a black jacket with silver eye shadow, Korean lipstick, and she was wearing her thick heeled black six inch heels.

"DAMN she looks hot," people kept whispering.

She honestly did to be honest but I will NOT admit that to ANYONE including Raven.

Seth went up behind her and put a blindfold on her eyes.

"What are you guys doing?" she asked.

"Just wait sis we'll be there soon."

He ended up picking her up and carrying her to the courtyard where everyone was waiting.

When he set her down, she took off the blindfold and everyone screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!"

She looked like she was about to pass out from the noise, but she held it together and smiled awkwardly.

"Uhm, thanks but whats all this?"she asked.

"Your birthday party sis!" Seth said going up to her and hugging her.

She smiled and the party started. Her favorite bands played, and everyone started eating all the foods she loved. After a couple hours someone screamed "OPEN THE PRESENTS" and everyone sat down in a huge circle around Raven, while they all had their presents in their lap.

~~About three hours later...~~

Raven finally got to the group. Raven opened up Luna's, which was a huge and complete art set. Charlotte's was a stuffed stitch. Raven stared at it. Then she hugged it to her and said "MINEEEE!!!"
Seth gave her like thirty two presents, all of which were journals and notebooks she could write in. She hugged her brother so tight because she LOVES to write. Raph got her like forty something pieces of jewelry that she wouldn't be able to wear all at once. Char got her this random watch and she screamed so when I saw it later I knew why. It was a BTS watch, her favorite band. Draco got her this cute tiny stuffed dragon that she squealed over.

'People keep giving her stuffed animals...she won't even blink at mine...' I thought sadly.

Eliza had gotten her this mood ring and a binder full of model outfits she was gonna have Raven wear when she finally hosted a photoshoot. Levi had gotten her this box and in it was Yin and Yang necklaces. He hugged her and said "Wear them both til you find the right guy Ravy."

I thought that was sweet. Then it was finally my turn. I gave Raven the box before I could just hide it and looked away as she opened it.

When she opened it, she gasped in shock.

"Oh my god Sakura, I love it! It's so fluffy and adorable!" she squealed.

She hugged me tightly and I hugged back. Everyone danced and/or ate for the rest of the party.

After school we all went home and lay down. I looked over to Raven who was on the couch, and I saw her fast asleep cuddled up to the stuffed animal.

Sakura irl is a sweet girl who I'm very close to and I would give literally anything to have her smile every day. She is kind, nice and she cares about all her friends.
