Chapter 25.

Raven

As soon as Jackson pulled into the parking lot we all piled out and went inside.

"Name?" the security guard asked.

"Raven Fang."

"Purpose here?"

"Case 12, Alexander Moon."

"Ah okay. Step through the scanner."

All of us stepped through one by one. Once we were through I got all my stuff back and I dialed up Nyx, Sakura's mom.

"Hello?"

"Hey Nyx this is Raven. I need you to come to Court please. Once you get here, your purpose is Case 12, Alexander Moon."

"Dammit...that bastard...Alright thank you Raven I'll be there in ten minutes."

"Alright. Bye."

Me and Seth were making calls to everyone. Sakura was shaking and Eliza Charlotte Luna and Charlie were trying to comfort her. Draco was in the corner crouched down, a worried expression on his face.

Nyx got here a few minutes later, and so did my lawyer. Along with multiple people who have had Alex threaten stalk and harass them.

"Rav how are you gonna pull all this off?" Seth said hugging me.

"Because I called Mom and Dad."

"Shit..."

We never call our parents because they despise us...However when we need them and they know It they raise hell and support us through everything. And besides Alex has messed with them before too and it really got us both so mad, we nearly killed him.

Once everyone arrived we were all seated.

"Moon, first witness."

"I call Patricia Patricks to the stand."

The school slut sauntered up to the podium and sat down.

"Do you swear to tell the truth, the truth only, and nothing but the truth?" the judge asked.

"I do," she said holding up her right hand.

"Proceed."

Alex stood up and walked around over to Patti.

"Has Raven Fang ever come off as threatening to you?"

"Yes. In school, she gets into fights for no good reason."

"Objection!" my lawyer exclaimed.

"Please continue Baker."

Nigel Baker, my lawyer, stood.

"Your honor, with all due respect, Raven does not start the fights. Others start them. People like Patricia are simply walking by and see the aftershock. And Patricia beats people up more than Raven does".

"Fang, call your witness."

"I call Nyx Moon to the stand."

She went to the podium and swore to tell the truth. 

"Nyx, when was the last time your ex husband stayed around your family with a smile on his face?"

"When Sakura was seven."

"How about this. Did he ever abuse you or Sakura?"

"Yes...Multiple times actually."

"How long did this go on?"

"Two years."

"That is all."

The hours blew bye and when it was time for a short recess, I leaned against a wall and crouched down, panting. it was hot and humid in there, Alex wasn't making this easy, and considering I'm now turning eighteen soon, and still doing this, it's kinda hard.

"When we get back in there call me up to the stand sis," Seth said.

"Alright..After is Sakura then Mum and Dad."

"Alright."

After Seth went up and damn near cussed Alex out, I sent Sakura up.

"Angel, I need you to tell the judge what happened okay?" I said.

"Okay..."

She told the judge what happened close to four months ago. Once she finished the judge looked horrified.

"N-next witness..."

I turned my head to the back.

"Mum?"

**Fourteen Years Ago**

I looked at Seth, scared and holding onto him and my pet dog.

"Seth whas goin on?" I whispered.

"I don't know Sissi," he replied.

Outside the door of the cabinet, Mummy was screaming.

"Let my fucking wife go you piece of shit!" Papa yelled.

"Give me your fucking kids James!"

"Fuck no! They're my kids! Raven is fucking 3 AND A HALF YEARS OLD! SETH IS ONLY FOUR! What the fuck is wrong with you????!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!???!?" 

Mummy started screaming again.

"No please no don't do this don't do this to my baby Raven!"

"Mummy!" I screamed and jumped out of the cabinet.

Alex dropped her. I ran to Mummy and hugged her while we were both crying. Seth ran out next. Papa hugged all of us.

"Get the fuck out of my house Alex. I ever find out you're trying to fuck with me my wife or my kids again I will have a good fucking reason to kill you! You killed Raven's best friend! Get the fuck out!"

After that I never acted the same. I was always dark and silent. I always did perfect at everything. I never did anything wrong. It worried my parents.

As I grew older the teenage hormones came in and I started acting like my brother.

They hated it.

After Mum and Dad finished, Alex went to jail isn't getting out for forty years.

Me and Seth walked up to my parents.

Mum spoke first.

"We just wanted to say we're proud of you both. You're so successful at seventeen years old. We miss you..."

I started crying and hugged Mum. Seth and Dad joined the hug.

"Come visit us sometime?" Dad asked looking hopeful.

"Of course!" we said.

"Love you kids," they said.

"Love you guys too!"
