Chapter 5: The Wizard in Armor (part 1)

"Hey, Mira, (n/n), can we get some beers over her, please?"

"Be right with you." Mira shouted.

"I'll be their in a sec." (y/n) called out.

"So when are you two gonna go on a date with me?" Wakaba asked Mira and (y/n).

"Would you leave them alone?" Laki shouted.

"Wakaba, there's a slight problem." (Y/n) looked to Mira. Mira nodded her head and then a purple circle appeared in front of Mira's face. Mira made herself look like Wakaba's wife.

"You already have a wife." Mira said.

"I hate it when you do that! It's so creepy." Wakaba started to freak out.

After that whole ordeal, (y/n) had walked over to where Lucy, Natsu, Tigra, and Happy were. "I guess we should probably try to find another job." Natsu grumbled.

"Aye! We're running out of food money."

"If we'd taken that two million jewel reward, we'd be sitting pretty." Lucy commented. "And I can't let myself forget that rents gonna be due next week. I guess I'd better find work too."

"Don't worry guys we will figure something out." (Y/n) reassured while placing the tray of drinks she was holding on the table. "Yeah! (N/n)'s right. We can figure something out." Tigra was eating fish while she was speaking, but the sentence was still clear.

(Y/n) pointed at Lucy then herself and said, "Lucy and I are gonna look at the request board and see if we can find a job that we can do." After that was said, (y/n) and Lucy walked over to the request board.

After some time, (y/n) asked, "Did you find anything?"

"Hmm...Finding a magic bracelet? Breaking a spell on a cursed cane? Reading someone's love horoscope? Hunting a volcano demon? Jeez, I had no idea wizarding jobs were so varied."

(Y/n) chuckled, "Well that's Fairy Tail for you. There's always a job that can keep you on your toes." Mira walked over to the two female wizards and said, "Well, let me know if you find one you're interested in taking on. The masters away at conference, so I'm covering for him."

"Ahhh. So he's at another one of those conferences. I went with him once and let me tell you, it was one of the most boring things I had to sit through." (Y/n) avowed. Mira nodded. "What kind of conference?" Lucy asked.

"It's a conference for guild masters." (Y/n) answered.

"Every once in a while they all get together to talk about the state of things. It's like the magic council, but not." Mira explained. "Excuse me, Reedus? Could I borrow your light pen, please?" asked (y/n).

"Oui." Reedus tossed the pen to (y/n).

(Y/n) started to write in the air. "The council, Era, is the most powerful organization in the magical world" (y/n) and Mira began taking turns to explain. "It's only one step below the government."

"It has 10 members, and its their job to uphold all magical rules and regulations."

"And if a wizard breaks magical law, they would be tried by the council."

"Then there's the different guild master leagues, which are local groups who work together. Then the individual masters."

"It's their job to pass on the decrees of the council. They also communicate with other guild masters on a regular basis."

"They are the ones who keep all of us together. They're like our parents. Which is a pretty stressful job may I add." Tigra added while sitting on (y/n)'s shoulder.
