day off | 休みの日
❁ཻུ۪۪𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐌𝐈
i stretched out as the cold breeze hit my stomach. it was chilly today, jersey weather was bipolar as fuck. finally i pulled myself up and walked to my closet. today was my day off, and i was happy to be able to relax. instead of immediately showering, i just out on a shirt. i slept in a bra and shorts when it was warm, when i went to sleep it had been warm.
after i found a comfortable t-shirt i opened my door to go downstairs. i could smell cooking bacon, which was an indication that my mom was home. i hurried down the rest of the stairs to give her a hug. i didn't get to see her often anymore.
she embraced me her vanilla scent still lingering. god i missed her warm hugs.
"te extrañé mamá"
"te extrañé mucho más bebé, lo siento, no puedo estar más en casa," she just squeezed me tighter.
after hugging her for a second longer i let go to grab a plate. i ate the huevos rancheros she prepared with a smile on my face. this was the best breakfast i've had in a while.
feeing full i washed my plate before making my way back to my room. as i laid in bed i began to get bored. i decided to, against my better judgement, download tiktok. my best friend zuri swore that app was the source of her happiness and her insecurities. she had been begging me to atleast download it for weeks, when she finds out i did she's gonna he so excited.
after the little cycle finally went away i pressed open. i set up an account, simply my name and a picture of me as my profile picture. i had no real intention of ever posting. i then when to my 'fyp' seeing as i wasn't following anyone yet. after ten minutes of scrolling i stopped on a video that made my eyes go wide.
it was mattia, the supermarket boy.
he was wearing a blue hoodie, and moving to a song in a different language. and he looked fine as hell doing it.
i was to say the least shocked, he was sorta famous on this god forsaken app. i clicked the link to his instagram, scrolling through his feed. i immediately clicked follow not thinking much. i mean he had over one million followers he wouldn't see the notification.
being on instagram gave me the motivation to post though so i quickly looked through my camera roll. i had pictures i had taken a week or so before that were decent enough. i decided to use a song lyric for the caption.
