Transformers Prime Jacks Sister

Chapter 2

Rei woke up and sat in her bed, looking out the window. She heard June yelling for them to wake up, hearing her brother get up and slowly walking around. She softly chuckled and got out of bed.

She grabbed a pair of black tights with galaxy styled flowers on them and a white top, slipping on white socks and grey flats then she left her room. Only to go back in and grab her school bag. She entered the kitchen to see Jack sitting at the table eating some toast.

"What do you want for breakfast Rei?" June asked.

"...I'll just have some oatmeal, so Jack what do you do after school?" Rei asked.

"Oh uh...I just uhm hang out with my friends" Jack said sipping his orange juice.

"Where do you go to hang out? Anywhere fun?" Rei asked as she fixed up her breakfast.

"Sometimes....most of the time we try to keep our one friend out of trouble. She's kind of....wild" Jack smiled.

"...cool" Rei said as she sat beside him at the table.

June smiled as she drank her coffee, looking at the time she decided it was time to get going for work before she was late. She asked Jack to lock the house before they left.

"Ready Rei?" Jack asked standing up.

"Yup....we walking?" Rei asked.

"Nope. Driving....cmon" Jack said going out to Arcee who was already in the driveway.

"How did the bike get out there?" Rei asked looking at her brother.

"Mom puts it out for me..just wait by the bike while I lock up" Jack said locking the door and closing the garage door.

Rei looked at the bike as if it would do something at any moment. Jack walked up to her and got on the bike putting his helmet on. Giving a spare to his sister. She climbed on the back of the bike wrapping her arms around her brother so she wouldn't fall.

"Please tell me your a good driver" Rei frowned.

"Sure I am, what you scared?" Jack teased.

"I've never been on a bike before" she said.

Jack smiled and allowed Arcee to do all the driving so Rei wouldn't freak out. Arcee was caught up by Prime telling her Jacks sister is home and Jack would likely drive them both to school.

As she cruised down the road, she made sure to keep steady so the girl could remain calm. Moving the mirror slightly she saw that Rei had her eyes closed. She slowed to a stop when she pulled up to a red light. Waiting for it to change.

A honking was heard behind them and Jack looked in the mirror to see Vince was behind him, smirking. Jack sighed and as the light turned green Arcee moved. And Vince stuck close. To close for the femmes liking.

"HEY VINCE LAY OFF! YOU TRYING TO MAKE US CRASH?!" Jack yelled as he stopped again.

"Can't prove anything Darby, your the one driving like an old lady" Vince mocked.

"Because my sister has never been on a bike before! Like I'd drive fast to scare her and break the speed limit? As if" Jack said.

"Heheh well your friend better get used to your dumb bike soon, later loser" Vince sped off going passed them.

"Don't listen to him Rei, he's a jerk" Jack said as Arcee kept driving.

As everyone was in their classes Arcee was still fuming about being called a dumb bike. She wanted to make that kid pay so much but she knew it would upset Optimus if she hurt him or broke the rules of revealing herself.

So she settled for letting jack handle him. Maybe Miko if the boy let her. Then Rei came to her mind, the girl was so innocent to their life, she knew nothing. And she knew jack and June wanted to keep it that way as long as possible. The girl didn't need to get caught up in their feud like the others.

Bumblebee and Bullhead came back and parked beside her, there was still time before school got out but it never hurt to be early. They talked using their comms and had a good conversation.

When the bell rung, kids ran out. Rushing down the streets, into buses or into their parents cars. And if they were old enough into their own cars. Arcee watched Rei being pulled out by Miko and they ran up to the cars.

"Hide in there Rei!" Miko said.

"But, it isn't our car Miko! We can't go in" Rei said.

"It's my ride and I say it's fine, get in there!" Miko pushed her in and shut the door.

"WHERE IS SHE?!" Vince yelled.

"Who?" Miko asked playing dumb.

"That chick Darby had!" Vince grumped.

"Oh her, yeah she left, sorry" Miko smiled.

"VINCE!" Jack rushed out seeing the red head by Miko.

"Tell your friend Darby when I see her she better be careful! No one runs into me knocking my things out of my bag and gets away with it" Vince walked over to his car and sped off.

"What's his deal Jack?" Miko asked hands on her hips.

"Rei and I were talking, and she accidentally and I mean ACCIDENTALLY ran into him knocking his bag off his shoulder and his things fell out, that's why I pushed her to you and said run" Jack said.

"Ah ok....yeah he's a jerk anyway" Miko smirked.

"Yup....anyway I have to get Rei home now, she said she wanted to do some painting after school" Jack said.

"We can go with you and drop her off" Miko smiled jumping in the front.

(Darby house)

Rei got out of the back of Bulkhead and thanked the two fro the ride, she looked at Jack and wondered if he was leaving with them.

"I'll be back later, just keep the door locked" Jack said.

"Ok.....be safe Jack" Rei waves as they all drove off.

Rei went into the house went to the spare room her mother had as a art room. She got everything she needed and started to paint. Until her stomach growled.

"Oh fine time to make yourself known stomach, sigh" Rei got up to go to the kitchen.

"I wonder why Jack wouldn't tell me where he goes after school..." she wondered as she made a sandwich. Grabbing a glass of water she went back to her art room.
