Transformers Prime Jacks Sister

Chapter 3

As Rei always watched Jack leave after dropping her off, she got more and more curious as to where he was going. She always watched for him at night. But one thing she noticed clearly was that her mother and brother were lying to her.

"I will find out what your hiding brother....that I promise" she said as she cut some chicken to make stir fry.

(Mini time skip)

June walked in the house to see the table set and dinner sitting on the table, a frown made its way to her face as she looked to the clock.

"Late again...sigh....maybe I should talk to my boss" June sighed sitting down at the table dishing out her meal.

"I'm home" Jack said coming in.

"Welcome back Jack, dinners a little cold so you'll have to heat it up" June said taking the plate to the microwave.

"Ok" Jack nodded looking for Rei.

"She's likely in her room honey, we are late getting home again...how are the others?" June asked.

"Fine...got into another fight today over a mine, Miko went after them to watch them fight again" Jack said.

"When will that girl learn to listen and stay at base?" June asked.

"Never, that's what makes Miko well Miko" Jack smiled.

As the two ate their dinner Rei came out to see them, she frowned at them but sighed as she went to get a drink. Ignoring the two.

June couldn't blame her for being upset, they did promise to try and spend dinner together like a family should. But with work that came to be a challenge sometimes. As for Jack well they didn't want to tell her why he was always late getting home.

"Did you eat already honey?" June asked.

"Of course....after waiting two hours for you both" Rei grumped.

"I'm sorry honey...but you know work can be iffy to make it for dinner all the time" June said.

"Which is fine I guess, but that don't work for him" Rei said back still turned to them.

"I lost track of time" Jack said.

"YOU ALWAYS LOSE TRACK OF TIME JACK! I'm always the only one here....the only time I see any of you is before leaving for the day and then just before going to bed......sigh...forget it ok, I'm going to bed" Rei whimpered as she shuffled to her room.

"Rei!" June called.

(Morning)

Rei has locked her door and ignored both June and Jack when they came calling on her to get up. Eventually they quit and left the house. Rei then got up and got dressed. Wearing pure black tights and a knee high length red dress. Combing her hair she grabbed a blue ribbon and tide it in a pony tail.

She entered the kitchen and poured some cereal in a bowl to eat. Looking out the window she decided to take a long long walk. After she finished eating she put the bowl in the sink and slipped her grey flats on. Leaving the house after slipping her tan coat on in case it rained.

The air get damp telling her it could rain. As she made her way through town she made it to the outside of town. Taking a small break she looked back behind her, then turned around and kept walking.

She watched some cars pass, not many but some. Birds flying over head. Lizards on the ground scurrying off. Then the air got a bit cooler, wind picked up.

"Great" she sighed looking in all directions and found nothing to take cover in.

Sitting on the side of the road while rain poured down on her, her covered her head with her coat. Wishing she had an umbrella. But then a red car was coming up the road from town.

"What's this? That's unusual to find a young human out here" the car said amused.

Rei watched the car slow down and stop beside her window going down a bit, Rei didn't want to ask but she wanted to get out of the rain.

"Can you give me a ride please, I forgot my umbrella" she said.

"Sure I'll give you a ride, where are you headed" the car said.

"Back to town there...I was just out walking, and I don't hurry home mother and brother will be worried if I'm not there before they get home" Rei said.

"Oh...is that so" he said.

"Unfortunately yes, mother is a nurse...and brother well heaven knows where he goes with his friends they won't tell me, I swear Jack is hiding something from me" Rei said.

"Jack?....heh tell you what hope in out of the rain and Get warm" the door unlocked allowing Rei inside.

"Thank you sir, what the heck!? There's no driver!" Rei gasped.

"Nope don't need one when your an alien who can drive themself, now you said your brother was Jack" the car said.

".....who are you..." Rei asked.

"Names Knockout, I'm a Decepticon from a planet called Cybertron. I'm sure Megatron will find a good use for you" Knockout said calling for a ground bridge.

"Wait! I want to go home! Please take me home" Rei begged.

"Oh sure I'll take you back, once Megatron decides what to do with you" Knockout said driving through the ground bridge.
