CHAPTER 18: COUPLE'S PAGEANT

Jennie's POV:

"Guys Intramural is near!" Our president in our class said

"We need to choose who will compete" he added

Compete? For what?

"Excuse me, Mr. President!" I called him while smilinh

"Why Jennie?" He said

"What are the contest?" I ask

He's like a stupid person. He will ask to choose who will compete even even he's still not telling what are the contests.

"There's a chess contest, volleyball, basketball, badminton, soccer, swimming, booths, and I think there is a Couple's Pageant today." He said

"What is 'Couple's Pageant'?" I said confusingly

"Are you stupid?" Jisoo said and our classmates just glared at her.

"Its a pageant for the couples Jennie. Like the usual pageant, you need to ramp. And the difference of this pageant to a beauty pageant is you need to make the audience tingle." Mr. President explained

"Ahh okay, thank you." I said while smiling.

"Guys who do you want to be our contestant? And we need two couples per section. So who will compete?" Mr. President ask

"Who has boyfriend and girlfriend here?" Jeongyeon said. "Can you please raise your hands?" She added

Others raised their hands.

I didn't raise my hand. I don't like to join that pageant. Besides I'm too shy, and feet are both left.

Maybe when I ramp, I will tripped! That will be too embarrassing and for sure Jisoo while annoy and embarrass me if that happens. Amd for sure Lili also don't want to join, so I will not waste my time.

"Jennie, you have a girlfriend right?" Tyuzu said when she noticed that I didn't raise my hand.

"Yes." I said worriedly

"Why you look like you're not sure?" Jisoo said like she's pissing me off.

"It's not like that. I just don't like joining pageants. And I'm sure my girlfriend also don't like it." I explained to them.

"Oh really? Is that the reason or you're just shy that we will see her?" She said

Where did that idea came from? You're really full of shit Jisoo.

Shy? What will be the things that will make me shy when they see Lili?

"Why will I be shy?" I said to my sister annoyingly.

I'm starting to get irritated again because of her.

"If you're not shy, I dare you! Join the pageant. Well anyway, even you and girlfriend will join nothing will change. Me and Rosé will still win. With my beauty and the charisma of Rosé I'm sure you're just nothing." She said

Beauty? Charisma? Where? Why I think I cannot see it?

"Okay" I just said

I won't fall in your trap Jisoo. I know that she's just annoying me for me to join, which is not going to happen.

I'm to smart, to get fooled by Jisoo.

"Guys! Don't fight. I think its better if we will just vote, right classmates?" Mr. President said and our classmates just agreed.
