Hello readers! I'm back from the dead to make another chapter for you all! Hope you like it.
America looked around the room at his remaining friends. He didn't let any of them out of his sight and the new feeling of being watched made him feel anxious. He laid his eyes on Canada, who looked worried while talking to Ukraine.
He didn't know what they were saying since they were whispering, but he noticed that Ukraine would glare at him every few minutes or so, which added on to his feeling of being watched. America ignored it until Canada got up and dragged America into another place in the mansion.
"Canada, what are you doing? Where are we going?" America asked, trying to pull his hand away from his brothers grasp. Canada stopped once they were far away from the living room. America tried asking what he was doing again but Canada just ignored him and looked around to see if anyone was following. The room was dark, but America could still see his brother.
"Canada, where the heck are we?" America asked, yanking his hand away from Canada. He heard Canada mutter a few words, before he looked up to his brother. America didn't know what he said, but he knew that his brother was nervous about something.
"Meri, what I'm about to tell may sound crazy, but I promise you that I am not lying!" Canada whispered, making sure America understood what he was about to say.
"I keep on hearing some strange voice following me. It sounds so eerily familiar but I don't know who it is!" Canada whispered, waiting for his brothers response.
"I've been having the same problem..." America said, remembering when he left his room and heard some strange voice.
"Well, maybe whoever they are could be the murderer?" Canada suggested, shaking his head at the thought. America was about to respond until a random clicking sound was heard. America looked around through the darkness to see the silhouette of a person, and what he guessed was a weapon in hand.
"Tsk.Tsk.Tsk. You shouldn't have gone so far from your friends." The figure said, a little smirk appeared on his face. America could see them fiddling with their weapon.
"You know, I kinda feel sad for you. I'm about to kill you, and you still have no idea who I am..." The figure stepped forward a little to reveal a gun pointed towards America. They whispered something before pulling the trigger.
"Here's a little hint..." The figure whispered, "I died by a bullet, and you will too." They smiled, pulling the trigger and letting a bullet fly towards America.
America didn't know what to do, he was frozen in shock as he waited for the pain from the bullet to strike him.
But it never did.
Instead, America was shoved to the ground by Canada, who took the bullet for him.
America quickly got up from the ground and rushed to Canada's side. He tried stopping the bleeding from Canada's chest but failed.
"C-Canada...You shouldn't have..." America whispered, holding his brother while tears fell down his face. Canada gave a small smile and tried pushing himself up to hug America.
"You're my brother...Of course I had to..." Canada whispered, his breathing became shallow as he collapsed back to the ground.
"Hey Meri, before I go..." Canada whispered, "See you on the other side." Canada smiled, before closing his eyes. America placed his brother on the floor and stood up. America silently chuckled at what his brother had said.
"Till we meet again." America whispered, feeling a bit happier to have said that.
(If You Know Where I Got That From I Will Give You A Cookie)
"YOU!" A voice yelled from behind America.
Ukraine
"You Murdered Canada!!!" Ukraine yelled, making America jump.
Ukraine attacked America and hit him in the head with a pan, knocking America out.
The last thing America saw was Russia and Germany running in to see what had happened.
-Time Skip brought to you by the Cookie-
America woke up, tied to a chair with rope. He felt something cold on his head that hurt a bit.
'What happened? Why am I tied to a chair?' America thought, looking around his surroundings. He was back in the living room. America heard struggling next to him and looked over.
Ukraine was tied up to a chair as well. She was trying to loosen the rope that was tied tightly around her.
'Why is Ukraine tied to a chair? Where is Canada?'
Then it hit him.
America shook his head remembering what had happened to his brother. He felt empty inside knowing that his brother had saved him and died in the process.
"Meri, are you okay?" Someone asked, putting their hand his shoulder to shake him a bit. America looked up to see Russia standing in front of him.
"Wha-What happened? Why am I tied up?" America asked, becoming conscious again. He saw S.K, Poland, and Germany sitting on the couch watching everyone else.
"Well, we found Ukraine standing over you and Canada somewhere, she said that you killed Canada, though we didn't believe her since she was holding a pan. We brought you two here and tied you up." Russia explained, looking at Ukraine who was still struggling with the ropes.
America nodded his head as he looked to Ukraine as well. He felt the ropes becoming loose as Russia untied him.
"So...What happened?" Russia asked, sitting on the couch with the others. They all put their attention on America and waited for him to speak. America knew what he meant, and started thinking about what he would say.
"Well, Canada told me about how he kept on hearing things, and we started to guess it was the murderer." America started, trying to make this as short as possible.
"Then we heard a voice, and so the murderer stepped out of the dark and pulled out a gun, Canada saved me, and...well..." America stopped what he was saying, he felt guilty and couldn't help but feel Ukraine's eyes glaring at him.
"Did the murderer say anything? Like, some sort of information so we would know who they are?" S.K asked, his voice was quiet when he heard the guilt in America's voice.
"They said that they died from a bullet, don't know how that means." America said, muttering the last part to himself. America noticed Germany shot his head up at what he said.
"W-wait, they said they died from a bullet?" Germany asked, nervousness and doubt could be heard in his voice. America nodded his head, wondering what he was thinking of.
They continued asking him questions for the next 30 minutes before they did the same to Ukraine. America rolled his eyes every time Ukraine accused him of something, which got annoying to the point where America snapped at Ukraine and had to have his chair moved away from Ukraine's.
America couldn't help but notice how Germany was still so nervous. What was bothering him so much? America shrugged it off and waited for the questions to end.
America had fallen asleep, letting the memories of what had happened to flood his brain.
1206 words.
Wow.
I typed all of that.
I'm guessing some of you have already found out who the murderer is.
So, if you did... -places a plate of cookies on a table-
