In a fairly large city surrounded by a forest known to be filled with magical creatures, there lives a girl named Rosalie Mary-sue. Rosalie lives in an apartment, that is nearby her family's restaurant that she works in, living alone as she finally moved out of her parent's home a month ago. The apartment has a small kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and one bedroom, each decorated with purple and yellow flowers. Rosalie sits in the living/dining room at a dining table eating eggs on toast while she scrolls through the internet on her phone with a smiles as she hums to herself.

She moves her short messy hair out of the way of her eyes as she reads something on her phone. She sighs as she finishes her food. "Another theft at a restaurant, I sure hope that does not happen to the Mary-sue restaurant." She says softly as she stands up and walks to the kitchen to wash her plate. Mary wore a short black dress with a white long sleeved shirt underneath with long white socks and black flat shoes. She glances up at a clock on the wall that said "7:32am" as she grabs her bag from the table. "I better get going before my shift starts." she says stuffing her phone and keys into the bag and walking out of the apartment swiftly.
She makes her way down the hallway to an elevator and presses the button. As the doors open she notices that one of her friends is inside, she steps in smiling "Hey Opal, how are you doing?" she says to the girl with long red hair tied into a ponytail with some hair covering her face. The girl named Opal looks up from her phone with Green glistening eyes and smiled softly "Hey Rosa, I am doing okay. What about you, how is work?" she replied putting her phone away. "Work is busy as usual but I'm doing okay! Just hoping no one tries to steal money from the restaurant." Rosalie says with a hopeful tone.
Opal smiled and nodded "Agreed, I plan on studying there later so let us hope nothing bad happens." she says as the elevator doors open on the ground floor, both girls walk out of the elevator and the building. "Want me to walk you to the restaurant Rosa?" Opal asked, only to have Rosalie shake her head "Nah, I will alright walking on my own, you go have fun and stay safe!" Rosalie says as Opal smiling and waved goodbye to her before walking away. Rosalie begins to walk the opposite direction as she puts headphones on and listens to some music.
Arriving to the restaurant, Rosalie notices that she is one of the first people to walk in. "Morning Mum, Dad" she greets her parents as she walks into the storage room where they are moving some boxes on the shelves. "Hello dear, you're early again it seems." Her mother commented "Better than being late." Her father says bluntly making Rosalie laugh nervously. "Go get changed dear and start making a few things please" Rosalie's mother says gently. Rosalie nods happily and walks into the female staff changing room and changes into her work clothes.

She walks out after putting her things away into her locker and walks into the kitchen to prepare some food to be cooked, cleans the tables, sets out menus on each one and even manages to prepare a cup of coffee before someone knocked on the kitchen window. Rosalie looked up and saw a familiar face. "Hey! Come on inside, Joe!" She said as she opens the door.
