11: hero killer: stain

Y/N's POV

8:54 A.M.

At last, hero internships has officially begun. It was a whole week, so I brought decent clothes, toiletries, and a couple of chamomile tea bags with me. 

I glanced up the tall building- almost a skyscraper in front me, admiring the bright sky up above. It was a dream come true, interning with Endeavor; the person I look up the most, despite his cold actions towards the public. 

After bumping into him at the Sports Festival, it seemed nothing was wrong, but guilt is still making me sorry when I heard Todoroki's past about his dad. How I wish they would fix their relationship.

The receptionist was quite a fangirl.. She made me took selfies and a signature... Weird, but it makes me heart flutter at my small gestures to see them happy. Just like Lida-kun said, 'handling fan services is part of being a fully fledged hero', or something between the lines.

"Shoto, it seems that you're ready to take the path of the mighty."

"I have no intention going down on a path you made. I will take my own path."

Knock ! Knock ! Knock!

"Sorry, Am I interrupting something?"

"Yamada, just in time. I'm glad you chose to take my offer."

"I've thought alot about it. Oh Todoroki, didn't see you there", I waved my hand at him and closed the door behind me.

"We're going on a business trip at Hosu City, where the Hero Killer lurks in the shadows. Yamada, can we discuss more about your quirks?" Endeavor stated, his eyes still glancing at my figure.

"Of course", I sat on the chair near his desk. "Pyro and Terrakinesis are the ones you have seen on the recent festival, but I also have my Dad's. The voice quirk allows me to make loud-pitched sounds. Flames can emerge from my body and manipulate them at my own will, as well as the earth quirk- but in almost different varieties, such as rock, sand and dirt, but I can retrieve it's entireties." 

"Very well. You two can go now." Todoroki looked at me but I turned to Endeavor once again.

"Can we talk Endeavor-san? Privately?", and with that, Todoroki exited the room.

"Go on. I'm listening", Endeavor shuffled his seat, resting his bare back on.

"The thing is, do you somehow know my Mom? Perhaps?", My gaze softened as I mentioned the latter.

"Aoi. I've known her as a dear friend--"

"A friend that you love? Or do you treat her as a friend that you romantically love?" Endeavor eyes was in awe. "The way you stare at me thinks that is the reason."
