I woke up at 3:00am I couldn't sleep much without jaden so I picked up chloe but a soon as I picked her up she left.

I laughed at my thought and picked up my phone to check it and saw a message from jaden.

I looked at his message and my eyes filled with tears I let a hot tear fall. I got up, put on his hoodie and walked out my room. I looked in paytons room and didnt see him. But I did see payton awake.
"Hey pay what are you doing awake"
"Maddie I'm 17 plus your not my mother so I can be awake if I want"
"Geez pay what did I do"
"You cheated on jaden WITH ME at new years"
"HE CHEATED ON MY FIRST THEN LIED AT BEING DRUGGED AND THEN 6 MONTHS LATER I FIND OUT FROM HIM WHEN HE WASNT THE ONE WHO WAS GOING TO TELL ME IN THE FIRST PLACE "
"Damn I'm sorry maddie I didnt know"
"Pay I'm sorry I kissed you"
"No it's fine i didnt mind i knew you must of had a good reason"
I hugged him and walked out of the room. I saw jaden on the couch. I hesitated to walk down the stairs after 5 minutes I built enough confidence to walk down. I stepped on the first step and it creaked and as soon as it did jaden looked my way very fast like he was scared. He saw me and broke down. I walk over to a couch
"Come here Jay Jay" I say patting my lap
He walks towards me and puts his head on my lap. I felt so bad. I've never seen jaden like this. I never expected him to be this emotional before I always saw him really tough. I played with his hair and began to cry.
"I'll ask a question and you answer then you can ask me anything" I say to jaden as he lifts his head up.
" ok" he sniffles
" why would you do that to me" I say
" i missed her but after these six months that past after that day i have fell more in love with you then I have ever loved someone" he cries.
" I understand but next time you do that I'm moving out and taking chloe" I tell him. He nods and says.....
" my turn, why did you have a seizure?" He says holding my hand.
I sigh and say " middle school until freshman year I had a best friend who was obsessed with popularity. One day she met a group of college people and she started to hand with them until one day they said if she wanted to stay in their group everything they did she had to do too. Well they took a lot of drugs when we were at a party, I didnt take any and she took more then she could handle and overdosed. When she passed out she died in my lap. Her face and lips were blue and she was cold I was traumatized. Every time anyone talked about drugs or brung up that day I would flip out. A couple of days ago you kept repeating the word drug and I kept picturing her blue cold face." I tell jaden tearing up.
He holds me and we lay on the couch. We end up falling asleep but before jaden goes to sleep he kisses me on the cheek and forehead. I smile and fall asleep.
