Awake?

As you were lifted from the dark of your pitch black dream a strange sense of peace and comfort surrounded your thoughts. A soft voice broke the comfortable silence, "Are you okay child?".

Suddenly you remembered what had happened and you slowly turned your head opening your tired eyes. You took in the features of the tall goat woman in her robe. Her soft gaze held warmth and love. Her fur was a soft grey with white patches that looked immensly soft and would be nice to the touch. She wore a pretty black robe with an paw-like insigma inside of a oval shape, the top had a sweater like part, with sleeves both a darker grey than her fur. You also knowticed she had tiny black horns and smaller black bat-like wings.

You remembered her question and shyly stuttered out, "I-I think so mam, but is the small flower okay? I-I d-didn't mean to l-lead that viral m-monster down here to y-your home." Tears trickled down your cheeks silently, and you could hear her approach and slowly pick you up in a gentle hug.

"Shhh, I'm sorry small one, I didn't mean to bring that up. You may call me Lea if you wish. The small flower is actually the one who helped me cure that poisoned cut on your arm. He also informed me of you saving his life, I thank you, for he is my son, cursed to a flower's form. Your safe here dere, I have closed off the entrance permanently. I do wish to ask what was that being?".

When you had calmed down, you slowly pulled away from her your face contorting with pain. "Eight years ago on my birthday, or today as it is now. A deadly virus spread over the surface world. Those who survived either were immune, or were infected with the virus. Those infected survivors were like that one chasing me... I-I...". The sudden thoughts of your family made your eyes run with rivers again.

"Your alone aren't you... Then if you'd like, I'd be honored to be your mom? But, you'd have to put up with my son Disk. He can be rather rude, but he cares deeply about you, and was too shy to tell you thanks when you woke.". This calmed and surprised you. "I-I'd love that! M-mom.". This word brought a small shy smile to your face. To have a mom, and a brother too, were more than you could have ever even dreamed of.

"Well that is wonderful to hear my sweet child! I took your hat and scarf and patched and cleaned them, I made you a small robe too! I'm making cookies downstairs, if you'd change come down and try some, okay?". You giggled shyly, "Thank you Mom, I w-will!".

You slipped on the new robe, it was so soft, and it smelled like cookies too! You looked at your scarf and hat smiling, "Well Mr.Snuzzles we have a family again!", then slipping your scarf, you loved calling Mr.Snuzzles on, and tossed on your sister's ragady old hat, you slipped your favorite necklace on too. And qeuitly limped down the stairs to the smell of-

Yes! Your favorite cookie in excistance, the Australian Ant Cookie. You peeked around the corner as you heard Mom talking with someone who sounded familiar, oh right the tiny battered up flower with the cute yet menacing eye patch. Mom said he was Disk right? You shyly hid as Disk knowticed you and he and Mom stopped talking.

Mom came around the corner and gave you a reassuring smile. "Go ahead in and introduce yourself, won't bite. I hope.". You giggled at her last comment as she rolled her eyes. Slowly you walked into the kitchen and up to the flower who smiled.

"Howdy, Howdy, Howdy! I'm Disk, sorry for yelling at you earlier. Thanks alot for that, I owe you my life!". He ducked his head in an attempt to bow. You giggled softly watching him, "I-I'm K-Kitten, but please call me kitty instead. I-It's very nice to meet you p-properly again.". He smiled and nodded, his eye glowing with happiness.

At that very moment both of your stomachs gurgled, and left you both laughing. Mom walked in, "Well I see you two get along perfectly, now who's hungry?". You and Disk yelled excitedly in unision, "WE ARE!". Mom laughed and gave you a large plate of cookies. "I hope these are okay I wasn't sure what you'd like to eat.". You hugged her and giggled out, "No, these are perfect, they are literally my favorite cookie!". Mom smiled and said, "That's great, I'll remember that.". You carefully picked up Disk in his pot and the plate of cookies and limped happily to the living room following your Goat Mom.

You sat on the floor and set Disk down gently next to the cookies and helped him, by breaking them into smaller pieces and giving them to him. "Thank yah alot Kitty! Mom's cooking is the best!". As you munched on a cookie, your senses melted with the cinnamon and oatmeal-like flavor they had. As Mom and Disk excitedly bickered back and forth you  ate 23 and a half cookies before falling asleep in Mom's lap as she read a book called, "Dingo and Puff's Great Adventures". Your dreams were warm and happy tonight.

Yolo! That's the end of chapter two, long awaited no? Chapter three is coming soon! I'm ready to introduce the characters Disk, Kitten, and Lea now! Their curtain reveals will pop up soon! And their info shall be added into the Dark Woods Origin Issue! Many characters depend on attitudes, but Lea is much like Toriel from Undertale, though she may have a bit more demon to her, she is sweeter than sugar! Disk seems deadly and evil, but he in fact is rather kind and loves to be around you!  Can't wait till I return~ Kat-Toon The One And Only Floofy!

Mom: Why do you sit on your bed all day?

Me: *drinking soda with lots of caffiene typing rapidly on my laptop trying to edit stories* No reason.

Dad: Get your arse outside and do something then.

Me: Noooope. *goes back to typing*

Friends: Are you still alive?

Me: *never did respond*

Family: Are they alright?

Me: *ignores their excistance* Am I?

My Dog Cody: *sits on my bed*

Me: *pets his head* You understand don't you boy?

Cody: *wags his tail panting happily*

Me: *smiles* Your always on my side, that's my good boy!
