"I'm so nervous." I told Kelsey, as we were standing outside their hotel room door. I raised my hand to knock, but just couldn't do it. Before I could even think of what to do, Kelsey grabbed my wrist and knocked for me. I looked at her, mortified, when Calum answered the door and smiled.

"Hey." He whispered.

"Hi.. Is Ashton here?" I whispered nervously.

"Hold on." He said as he walked back inside pulling the door almost closed. I hear;

"Ashton, I've got a surprise for you. Go to the door." A minute later Ashton came to the door and pulled it open, his jaw dropping.

"Ry? What? How? I knew that was you tonight! Calum told me I was mental! Your hair! I love it I am so confused. You're actually here!"He said, then he noticed Kelsey standing behind me, her jaw still ajar. "Hey Kelsey!"

Kelsey said a quick hello to Ashton before barging past us into the room, running up to a half naked Michael and introducing herself.

"Hi, I'm Kelsey, Ryleighs best friend." Is all I hear as Ashton grabs his pants and steps outside with me.

"What do you mean 'I'm here'? I thought you were mad at me.." I asked..

"I am mad at you. I thought you were mad at me too.. You changed your number.. How are you even here? We are still in Sydney right?"

"Oh.. Yes I'm mad. I changed my number because I moved back to Sydney. If you had been speaking to me, you'd know I reconnected with my dad and my mother and I moved back. That's why I got a new number and how I'm here right now." I said, not bothering to hide the annoyance in my voice.. If he hadn't started ignoring me, he would have known that.

"What?" He asked.

"Did you really not read the letter I sent you?" I explained all of this.

"What letter?"

"The one I sent you... Months ago. Like a month after we started ignoring each other.. I sent it to Dave cause I figured you'd actually get it.."

Ashton's face instantly got angry and hard.

"But Dave never gave it to you, did he?" I asked nervously.

"No." He answered. Shit he was pissed.

Just then Dave walked off the elevator and towards us. Once he recognized me he turned around trying to escape.

"Dave!" Ashton shouted.

Dave stopped, recognizing Ashtons angry voice. A voice I know all too well. He turned around and came back down the hall.

"Is there something you'd like to share with Ashton?" I asked, growing more angry by the second.

"I, uh,what?" Dave stuttered.

"Oh just a manila envelope with a box and a letter inside. Do you know what you've done? If he'd gotten my letter maybe the last few months wouldn't have been complete hell." I shouted.

"I.. Oh..That.. Uhm." He started.

"Where is it?" Ashton said calmly. The chill in his voice was enough to give me goose bumps.

"It's in my room. Still in my suitcase."

"Go get it. Now." Ashton said, to which Dave nodded and retreated.

Ashton turned to me and gave me a goofy smile, which I thought meant everything was okay. But I was wrong. I hugged him, but he stiffened up and didn't hug me back. Instantly I noticed, let go,and stepped back.
