"That's none of your business", I fired back. "OK but I'm seeing a whole new Kayla you're not the beast everyone sees you as but why do you push people away and why do you behave rudely in school?"he asked with so much curiosity. " I have no answers to your question you can leave now" I said. " I just want to let you know that a problem shared is a problem solved and you can talk to me instead of harbouring so much bitterness" he said. " Well I'm not ready to talk to anyone."
I am getting discharged today and I'm having mixed feelings. I will get to see my dad now and he'll remind me of everything but at the same time I'll eat Romeo's sumptuous meals. "let's go" Alex said. "Where's Romeo?" I asked. "Don't worry I'll be the one to take you home, he asked me to."
He helped me pack and soon we were in the car. It was a silent ride to my home. When I got home, Romeo helped me bring out my things. "Thank you" I said warmly. He took them inside. "I'm sorry for trying to get involved in your personal life" Alex apologized. "It's fine", I said going into the house.
When I got home I went straight to my room and laid down to get some rest when I remembered I haven't watched the series I loved so much for the past two days so I took the remote and tuned it to 'The Promise'. I really loved that show. When it was over I began to ponder over what Alex said. It kept ringing in my ears because all those times I gave people the wrong image of who I really was and so they treated me the same way and I don't know if I could change things...
