It has been six months since my mother and brother died, and we are moving away from the one place I have known. I have lived in California my entire life, it's where the last memories of my mother and brother are. We are moving to a small town in Washington, called Forks. I am moving to a small town named after a fucking utensil. I can't believe this. When I told my friends about this they had the audacity to laugh at me.
The only good new is that I just turned sixteen and that means I can finally get a job, which gives me money so I can get a car. So I can drive as far away as I want, leaving my thoughts and my father behind. I don't want this town to the death of me. I'm going to make this town my bitch.
