His POV:
Y/N and I are at a Icelandic restaurant (🤷🏻‍♀️).  The waitress came up to us, but when she spoke it was in Icelandic "Hvað get ég fengið fyrir þig í dag? " (What can I get you today?) She asked. I had no idea what she said since I don't speak the language but Y/N seemed to understand "Ég verð með glas af vatni" Y/N stated in perfect Icelandic. I was so confused on how she knew, when the lady left she explained that her Mother was from Iceland and she taught her. (I'll have a glass of water please).

Principal:

Y/N POV:
We had a foreign exchange student from France come today. I'm actually glad that I understand French so if I have to then I can speek to him. "Bonjour? Êtes-vous Mme O / N? " (Hello? Are you Ms. Y/N?) I heard a small voice ask from behind me. I turned around to see the exchange student. "Oui je suis vous êtes le nouvel étudiant?" (Yes I am are you the new student?) I asked him. I saw his face brighten a bit since I spoke in french.

~later that day~

I was walking to Princey's room to tell him I'm going home. "You didn't tell me you spoke french" i heard him say. "Well I needed to do I could talk to my Grandpa" I told him.

I'm getting lazy, so he already knows you speek German

I walked to Y/N's house, but I heard two people talking. I knew one was Y/N but I don't know the other. They were speeking Russian I think. "Бабушка, я не могу поехать с тобой в Россию" (grandma I can't go to Russia with you) I heard Y/N say. I don't know what she said but she sounded upset. "Да, я знаю, что вы не можете поехать со мной, но можете ли вы посетить это лето? " (Y/N I know you can't come with me but can you at least come visit this summer?) I heard another female voice say. I heard Y/N sigh and say "ok" in english. I didn't want to bother her I didn't say anything
