Her vision was blurred, all she could feel was pain. All she knew was pain. Was this the end of her life? She could feel her breathing shorten, the liquid texture of her blood splashing underneath her. She felt so much hope, hoping to see her classmates again. As much as she desired not to feel so much despair, she just wanted the best for everyone. The best for those loved her. "I won't...I won't give up. I won't lose to...someone like you!"

She cried out as the pain surged through her body, tears were streaming down her blood covered cheeks, wincing at every subtle move. "I don't...I don't want to die!"

But here she was, struggling to keep her breath steady, yearning to cling onto the remaining life she had. "I wanted to play games...with him..." She managed to choke out, feeling as if her lungs were going to give out any minute. "We had...so many to play..."

Izuru Kamukura stood before her, emotionless as ever, staring at the girl who was struggling to cling to life. That was until his eyes darted towards what sounded like a stampede of footsteps. But it only turned out to be one person, a familiar boy with the top of his head dyed blue, the rest black as his soul. Izuru stared at him, he looked like he was out of breath.

Without saying a word, the blue haired boy ran over and collapsed next to Chiaki's bleeding body. "H-Hey, hey." He began to say in between sobs, "It's me, Chiaki, it's me. Y-You'll be okay. Alright? Y-You'll be okay."

Her vision was already fading, but she managed to see through half opened eyelids, a small but faint smile showing on her face. Lifting a hand as it trembled, she placed her bloody hand onto his slender cheek, feeling the warmth of his face against her own cold skin. "T...There's my....my gamer boy..."

"We can save her." Izuru said cryptically, "Because I'm not my old self, it's possible, I can help."

The blue haired boy carefully scooped Chiaki into his arms, feeling her cold body interact with his warm one was chilling to say the least. The hand she had on his cheek slowly dropped to his shoulder, "I'm going...I'm going to save you. I-I will. I promise!" His voice cracked, tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Oliver Izumi, The Ultimate Skater, class 77-B. The one who was closest to Chiaki Nanami, The Ultimate Gamer." Izuru said, turning around, "Come on. We don't have time to waste. You want to save her, don't you? Then let's go."

"You can...save me...?" Chiaki breathed out, her vision becoming blurry as blood trickled down some more. The warmth of Oliver's body against her cold skin was a nice feeling, it took all her willpower to be able to focus. She wasn't alone, she believed in those two. Izuru and Oliver. Oliver's arms were enough to carry her, she wasn't scared. Not anymore. A small smile came onto her face as she grasped onto hope once again. It was faint but it was enough to get her through this hell.

Before she blacked out, the last thing Chiaki was able to see was the blue haired boy who was rushing to get her somewhere safe. Somewhere she was able to recover. She could see the faint glint of tears that were running down his cheeks. This wasn't the end, not for her, not when her best friends were giving her an extra heart for an extra life...
