Chapter 5

An exhausted Ollie walked up the stairs to his class, he couldn't believe the bullshit he had been through the last few days. A small smile came to his face as he had an imagery of Chiaki flash through his head, seeing her innocent smile and the way her cheeks tinted with pink when she was embarrassed-

He came to a halt and shook his head, he couldn't believe what he was thinking. Why was he even thinking of Chiaki like that? All they did was hang out, simple as that. They were classmates, what more could be the reason. Regardless, he wasn't excited to find out. And speak of the devil, there she was in front of their class, waiting for him to arrive as her eyes were still glued to her game. Ollie sighed quietly as he gently took her wrist into his hand, guiding her into the classroom and to her desk, although, he passed her desk and sat in his chair, feeling Chiaki sit on his lap, his arms instantly wrapped around her waist, yawning softly. And soon enough, his cheek was resting against her shoulder and catching a quick nap.

"This is weiiiird! Definitely weird!" Ibuki shouted, examining the two while Chiaki played Gala Omega without a care in the world. "Why are you two so close?! I remember he used to be angry with you all the time!"

"Hmph." Hiyoko looked away, she was angry at the sight of seeing Ollie and Chiaki so close.

"Well, they have been spending some time together." Mahiru explained, "They're always off together playing some video games during lunch. Either that or Ollie is sleeping on Nanami to catch up on hours he lost."

"What an idiot, if he actually slept at night, maybe he wouldn't have to be resting and perving on a girl's lap." Hiyoko replied in annoyance.

"Well, I think it's adorable." Akane said with a grin. "Look at those two, practically inseparable." 

"He's not like that." 

Everyone looked in Chiaki's direction, a bit surprised that she had spoken up.

"Ollie's nothing like that, he wouldn't be acting the way Teruteru and Kazuichi act, he has some decency." Chiaki continued.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Kazuichi asked angrily.

"Your words, they wound me madam." Teruteru whimpered.

Sonia clasped her hands together, smiling brightly as she nodded. "That is true, Ollie sure knows how to act around a lady."

"Not you too Miss Sonia..." Kazuichi said in defeat.

"Wait a second, so are you two a thing now or what?" Fuyuhiko asked curiously, looking over at the sleeping Ollie and gaming Chiaki. "Well?"

"Of course not. We're together." Chiaki answered calmly. 

"I don't think that's what he meant Chiaki." Ryota said with a light chuckle.

"Is this about the co-op thing again?" She asked, tilting her head in confusion. "I don't know what that means but if it means Ollie and I are together and pursuing our goals, then yes."

"Chiaki, do you not know what a relationship is?" Nekomaru asked in confusion. 

"Huh?" Her pink oculars looked down towards the arms that were around her waist, her expression dropping as a hand was placed over Ollie's arm, "Well, if I'm being honest, I'm not really good at dating games. It's the one genre that I admit to being bad at...sure I'll play them, but I'm not good at them. I don't even have that many friends because of video games, but that's all untrue now that I have Ollie and you guys." 

"Look at you all, getting along. It almost brings tears to my eyes." Chisa said cheerfully as she entered the room, walking over to Chiaki and Ollie. She reached hand out to smack Ollie's head, causing him to jolt awake.
