Hell.
It felt like hell.
Warmth. But too much warmth, perhaps she had descended into hell.
No, this wasn't like anything she felt before, if she were really gone, she wouldn't be opening her eyes up right now. Her eyelids felt heavy but she managed to sit up slightly, feeling a sharp pain in her stomach. "Ow..." Chiaki whispered before looking down to see her bandaged stomach, in fact, there were bandages all around her body. And the pain was a sure sign she was alive. All she remembered was feeling the sharp strikes of the spikes, Enoshima's laughter; all the darkness she felt. But there was one thing she vividly remembered, Ollie.
She removed her hand from her stomach and felt her skin be brushed by a soft object, that's when she saw Ollie was asleep against the side of her hospital bed, had he been here all night? It didn't surprise her to see her boyfriend passed out, he was worried about her and it seemed as if he didn't want to get any rest until she woke up. But it was alright, he was alright. That's all she cared about. Chiaki tried to recollect her thoughts, recalling everything that happened. Her classmates....her teacher...what had become of them? "What...happened..." Her fingers gently stroked his dark blue hair, delicate digits remembering one of her senses; touch. She saw him turn slightly, eyes opening up and seeing the familiar pair of brown eyes meet her pink ones.
"C...Chiaki...?"
A soft voice was all she heard, seeing the familiar blush spread onto his cheeks as she continued to stare at him.
"You...saved me..." Her voice was quiet as well, barely audible but just enough for him to hear what she said.
Ollie looked down for a moment, flashes going through his mind, remembering everything he had gone through. Seeing Chiaki laying in a pool of her own blood, the many injuries she had all around her body, now all those injuries were practically wrapped up as she laid in the hospital bed. "I told you Nanami."
Her expression changed slightly as he spoke. She tilted her head slightly, confused as he continued to speak.
"I will...always be your hero..."
That's when she felt a hand take her own, that was another sense that she was beginning to feel once more, everything was slowly coming together again. She watched the male lean down, pressing his lips against her own, the feeling she had missed the most. Her eyes closed as she returned it. She felt a gentle touch on her cheek, making her cheeks flush a light shade of pink.
"You're awake."
Ollie's eyes immediately shot open as he pulled back, coughing quietly as he crossed his arms before leaning back to lay down next to his bandaged girlfriend, his cheeks turning red.
Chiaki wanted to stifle out a laugh, but the pain was a bit overwhelming, "You...you two saved me..." She said, her voice was still weak.
There stood Izuru Kamukura, staring at the two with a blank expression as his red eyes directed towards the blue haired boy who had rested his head against Chiaki's shoulder once more, seemingly taking a nap. "It wasn't me, I didn't see a reason to save someone like you. Yet, if it weren't for him, you wouldn't be here. I've never seen someone rush so fast to save someone."
Remaining quiet, Chiaki's gaze went down towards her now sleeping boyfriend, seeing his peaceful expression before sighing quietly.
"There is no need to thank me. Thank him, for he is the one who was desperate to save you." Izuru began to turn around to head out the door, "Please don't be thankful for me, I'll be doing things that you aren't going to like. This will not be the last time you see me..."
