Harry goes out of the lift to the main lobby, walking past the security desk where Paul the security guard - who is in charge of security - sits with his legs propped up on the desk watching the monitors.
"Harry, what are you still doing here? It's Christmas Eve," said Paul, getting up and straightening his uniform. "Why didn't you tell me you're coming down. I would have called Louis to get your ride."
Harry looks outside the front entrance to the snowy and calm street.
"I'm thinking of a walk tonight, Paul. Plus with the snow, I don't think my Ferrari will like it."
Paul nodded at Harry, "Right you are, sir. A nice night for it. Great for clearing the mind. If you're thinking of going home, I'll just have Louis call someone to get your Ferrari home."
Harry nodded. "What would I do without you, Paul."
"Merry Christmas to you, Harry."
Harry broke a forced grin. "Thanks. To you too."
The rock star propped his collar out and shielded half his face with a thick scarf. He looks at the reflection on a mirrored pillar, people could still recognize him if he walked out in the streets. His curly hair was very telling.
"Need a hat, sir?" said Paul, handing Harry a thick knit hat.
"You're the best, Paul."

Harry emerged from the black colored building almost unrecognizable. He ambled across the large plaza over looking the landmark and passes by the numerous tall blocks of skyscrapers and the timeless pubs. It feels weird walking around the business district alone. Normally people would be rushing in and out. Sharing handshakes. Yelling on their phone. It was surreal being here at this time of night, there was a calmness to it. A serenity Harry never felt before.
Snow begins to fall.
Harry's thoughts wondered off to the general public. They're probably back in their little cots, lazying around by the fireplace in their fuzzy pajamas, drinking hot chocolate from a ridiculously colorful mug. His mind jumped to his celebrity friends and the people in the music business, most of them are probably somewhere in the Bahamas escaping the cold. They'll probably scold him when they meet for not joining them on a Christmas party in the Hampton.
He gets to the end of the block, a brightly lit mini mart at the tight corner. Harry heads towards the store. Harry looks around, there was a elderly South Asian man with someone that resembled his younger grandson sitting in the corner behind the counter. A pajama clad teen standing with a fork of lettuce looking at the window. A youthful woman carrying a baby in her arms glancing at the multiple selections of chips in an aisle. And a curiously dressed woman scratching with her fingernails on what looked like a raffle ticket.
Harry avoided the patrons, plodding across the aisle.
"Yaaaass. Yaaaass. She's a certified winner."
Harry raised an eyebrow, the lady was definitely too young to be talking to herself.
After getting a pack of gummy bears, Harry approached the counter.
