Cams POV
(Then...) she said she was fine but I knew behind every single time someone has said "I'm fine" there not.. Not at all fine. Not even a little bit. I walked over and hugged her I'm surprised she even got dressed, she's so beautiful and sweet but I still feel so bad..

Ashes POV
I feel like everything is gonna be okay. But I will miss my dad a lot, war is such a horrible thing and it really disappoints me! I heard a knock on the door, I looked at Cam and he shrugged and pointed to it. it was Court she was holding mail and she gave me the come here motion. I walked over and realized it was a letter that dad sent a few weeks ago. I wrote to him a lot so did Court, and my mom. I read it as tears started filling my eyes, "it'll be okay, I promise Ashley" said Court. I nodded and cried in her shoulder and she hugged me. But the last words mock in my head of my dad "I love you Ash I will see you in 48 more days baby girl!".
They mock and mock feeling sickening as Court and I stand there.

courts POV

I feel disowned and my anxiety is horrible right now. Everything will be okay I keep telling myself, I know everything will be okay it's just a matter of time. Things will eventually blow over.

Cams POV

I should probably call my mom and tell her where I am. I walked down stairs and sat at the breakfast bar in their huge house. She answered "can where the hell are you" I mocked her playfully, she didn't sound impressed though. I told her that I met this girl then her dad died and then I fell asleep at her house and made a Starbucks run and now I'm on the phone with her. "Well when are you gonna be home" she said
"I dunno" "probably like 4" I said
"Well I'll keep her and her family in my prayers, just be careful and make sure you have gas in your car and make sure that you.."
I interrupted "mom I know, I will see you later at around 4ish. Love you bye"
"Oh fine, bye Cameron" she said

I walked back upstairs her mom was standing near the bathroom and she signaled me to come over and I did. She said "thanks"
"Why"
"You are helping my daughter, it means a lot. I'm not always gonna be their for her and your keeping her hopes a little higher than they would be if you didn't help her"
"Oh" "your-your welcome"
She nodded her head.

I walked back into Ashes room, she had her phone out and she was snap-chatting this girl Lindsay, it was 3:45 and I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back. I smirked and pulled away a little but she was still hugging me, I told her I needed to go back home she nodded and I felt her nod, I kissed her forehead and told her to call me for anything or text me.
