Oh, hi there. Sorry it's been such a long time...

Anyway, please enjoy.

The fact that principal Nezu wanted to continue with the sports festival after what happened was concerning to not just me to but to several other teachers. We know they have the ability to by pass our security. They had a literal warp gate they could use whenever they wanted to. The fact that Shigaraki had been shot a few times definitely eased my nerves. But, only a little.

What if they had someone that had a healing quirk?

What if we aren't fast enough?

What if. That's the only thing buzzing through my head as Hizashi excitedly talks about how being the broadcaster for the show and is just so pumped to have me with him in the booth. How can he be so calm? How can he be so okay with this? Sure, we have extra heroes here acting as security. But, we don't even know their numbers.

I'm chewing on my thumb as I sit in front of the microphone in the booth. I know that I am, nervous habits never die really.

"Hey...Gaia. Are you really that nervous?" His voice makes me look at him.

I shake my head taking a deep breath, "No, I'm not nervous...not about this at least. I'm just scared of what may happen."

He gives me a tiny smile, trying his best to reassure me. He gently put his hand on my head and gives me a gentle pat. He lets out a sigh looking to the side a little.

"Look, I'm not really the best at this kinda thing," he take his hand away rubbing the back of his neck, "we don't have to be scared. We have so many precautions in place. No matter what, we'll find a way to be okay."

I sighed a little and shook my head, "Yeah you're right. Sorry Hizashi."

He waved his hands frantically in front of him "Hey! Civilians! Hero names!"

I jumped and started apologizing, forgetting that even though we are in this booth it doesn't change the fact that anyone could be around. Me slipping his name out isn't exactly helpful for him or anyone in this situation.

He chuckled a bit taking my apology then went to test the microphones.

It was smart of him to already having a spare out.

I could feel him sit on the other side of me, which was odd cause he was sitting on my right before. But, maybe he changed his mind and liked the echo on that side better instead.

"So how is Eraserhead? When I went to the hospital today he was already gone. I'm kinda worried..." I was doing my absolute best to make the question seem casual, we still didn't let anyone know about our relationship.

But...what is our relationship? I think he likes me the same way I like him. I think he cares about me. I had tried texting him earlier to check on him but he didn't answer me.

Then again his hands and arms are casted from all his broken bones. It's completely possible that he can't physically text me back.

"So you're worried about me eh?"

I think I may have broken my neck with how quickly my head snapped into his direction. I winced and held my neck feeling my spine tighten at the whiplash, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE OUT OF BED?!"

He was completely wrapped up, the only thing I could see was his hair and his eyes. His arms were in slings with plain white casts, the bandages around his face went down under his shirt, and he had the audacity to just sit there in his hero garb -- LIKE HE WASN'T HORRIBLY INJURED.

"Well you broke your ribs and you're here in uniform."
"I was healed by Recovery girl after resting for a day. You don't look healed at all!"
"I'm not in as much pain as I was."
"That is not what I meant and you know it!"
"Please stop shouting at me."

I sigh in frustration and comb my fingers through my hair looking at him, "Shota what if there's an attack?"

There is a pause, his eyes slowly scanning me almost as if questioning if I was serious. Like he didn't believe that I was truly concerned for his well being.

"I-..." I gulp looking away from him again, "I don't want you to die..."

He sighs, stretching his leg, his foot gently pressing against mine causing me to look at him slowly, "I'm not going to die. There's not going to be an attack, please take a breath and relax."

"We are in our uniforms to save face that's for sure. There were too many major injuries on their side. The League of Villians, if they're smart, have no feasible way of trying to attack us or attack this day."
I just listened to him talk not breaking eye contact, then sighed looking away trying my best to believe him.

"That's actually not my main concern right now."
"Oh...what is?"

My shaky hands, which I didn't even know were shaking pointed to the crowed. There was a familiar group of blue and teal hair sitting together waiting for the sports festival to begin.

"My father and brothers are over there."

I gulped and took a shaky breath. I was trying my best to save face, to make it seem like I was scared to just make a mistake in front of them or something like that. But I could tell he knew there was something more going on.

"Kohaku what has he d-"

Before he could finish his question Hizashi slammed open the door again "HeYEEEEEAAAAH!!! W-....wait why does it feel like someone died in here?"
