I shifted myself so I was in a more comfortable position and opened my eyes. At first I didn't know where I was, but I looked down and saw Arielle laying in my arms. Then I remembered everything that happened yesterday. I don't remember falling asleep though.

After Arielle invited me in to watch movies we laid on her bed and I guess we just fell asleep like this. I realized that I should probably get up, even though I didn't want to. I took my arms off of her and sat up. She rolled over so she was facing me and then she opened her eyes. I laughed and said, "Good morning."

"Good morning." she said. Her morning voice was hot. "Oh my god!" She yelled jumping out of bed and running into the bathroom.

I was shocked at first and then started laughing. I got up and knocked on the bathroom door. "Why'd you run in here?" I asked, trying not to laugh.

"I think I forgot to take my makeup off last night and it's probably everywhere." She said. "Look in the mirror." I laughed.

"Wow now I'm even more embarrassed." she said opening the door. She had taken it off last night.

"So I guess I should get going. You probably have stuff to do." I said grabbing my shoes. "Actually I don't..." She trailed off.

Her phone started ringing and she picked it up off the table and answered. After talking for a couple minutes she hung up and smiled.

"We have plans." she laughed. "What are they?" I smiled. "Well Hannah just called me and said that everyone's going to get lunch."

She grabbed a change of clothes and went into her bathroom. After 10 minutes she came out wearing a white tank top, a brown cardigan, and a pair of jeans. She had her long hair pulled into a side braid and she had redone her makeup.

I had already put on my shoes so once she put her gray converse on we walked out of the door. We got into the car and drove back to the hotel I was staying at. We got up to our floor and Hannah and the guys were standing there.

"Damn Cam finally getting some action!" Andrew smirked.

I rolled my eyes and kept walking. "Are you guys coming with us?" Zack asked. "Yeah." Arielle smiled.

We walked into my room and I shut the door. "I'm really sorry about that." I said taking my shoes off.

"It's fine." she shrugged. "Would it be okay if I took a quick shower?" I asked grabbing clean clothes.

She nodded and looked outside of the window. On the opposite side of the room from the door there was a wall that was completely a window. The view was pretty at night and it was a nice thing to wake up to in the morning.

I walked into the bathroom and started the water and hopped in. After I was done I climbed out and pulled on a pair of jeans and a tshirt. I opened the bathroom door and ran my fingers through my hair. I noticed that Arielle was still looking out of the window.

"It's a nice view." I smiled sitting next to her. "Yeah. I love the city, especially at night." I nodded agreeing with her. "I think you'd like California then." I smiled.

"Ever since I was little I've wanted to live there, or even go there. But after my mom was diagnosed with cancer there was no way that was happening."

I watched her facial expression and I could tell she didn't like talking about her mothers death. I don't know anyone who would.

"Anyways we should probably get going." she said standing up. I got up and watched as she wiped under her eyes. "Hey, wait, come here." I said pulling her into my arms.

She started crying even harder and I pulled her into my chest closer. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring anything up." I said rubbing my hand on her back. She sniffled and said, "No it's not your fault. I just miss her so much."

She stayed in my embrace until she stopped crying and wiped off her smeared makeup. Once she was calm again we left the room and got a taxi to the restaurant everyone was already at.

"Thanks for earlier..." she said not making eye contact. I grabbed her hand and turned her head making her look at me.

"If you ever need someone to talk to you know I'm here. I've had a lot of loss in my life and could understand what you're going through." I smiled. She smiled back and nodded.

We pulled into the restaurant and I paid the taxi driver, then walked inside. Everyone was sitting at a table in the corner. We walked over and sat down with them and ordered our food.

"So what took you guys so long?" Andrew asked. I looked over and saw Arielle tense up. I doubted she wanted everyone to know so I said, "I had to shower and traffic was really bad." I said. "Oh." Andrew nodded. Arielle gave me a 'thank you' look and I smiled in return.
