Violet's pov

We were almost to the cottage. Maybe only a mile away.

"Can we stop for a second?" Lyric asked.

I stopped. "Why we are almost there?" I asked.

"Can I tell you something?" Lyric asked.

"Sure. What is it?"

"I'm pregnant." Lyric said.

"For how long?" I asked.

"Only a few days. I was going to tell Beau today." Lyric said.

I started walking again. "I think it might be better if Beau doesn't know." I said.

Lyric walked towards me. "Why?" Lyric asked.

"We should discuss this with my dad before we do anything." I said.

The rest of the walk was silent. I pulled out my phone and called my dad's cellphone before getting to the cottage. Mom and dad opened the door.

"What's going? What's the matter?" Dad asked.

"Lyric's pregnant." I said as Lyric and I walked in.

"How is that bad news?" Mom asked.

" If Beau is still eating souls, it could have some of Zalgo's blood." Dad said.

"Even if the baby doesn't, Slenda will kill the baby. Slenda barely likes that Lyric is a distraction for Beau." I said.

"We need to kill it." Dad said.

"We aren't killing my baby!" Lyric yelled.

Mom tried to comfort Lyric. "We wouldn't kill your baby. Right, Jeff?"

"We might have to. What if it starts to kill her from the inside?" Dad asked.

"It might not." Mom said.

"We can't take that risk. Does Beau know?" Dad asked.

"Beau doesn't know." I said.

"Then we should just kill it." Dad said.

"No!" Lyric yelled.

Dad walked over to Lyric and bended down. "Look I know you want it..."

"It's a baby, Jeff. Right now it's just a baby." Mom said.

"Yeah, but that baby could kill her or get us all killed." Dad said.

"What if Lyric left and tried to raise the baby as if it was normal?" I asked.

Dad looked at me. "What if it kills her from the inside?"

"I'll make sure of it. I'll keep in contact with Lyric and check up on her to make sure that doesn't happen." I said.

"I don't want to leave Beau. I love him and he should know about our baby." Lyric said.

"I know, honey. For right now it might be what's best for you and your baby." Mom said.

Beau walked in. Lyric got up and ran towards Beau excitedly.

"I told you to never go to the creepypasta world!" Beau yelled then slapped Lyric's cheek.

"I'm sorry. It wouldn't happen again." Lyric said through tears.

"I'm glad we understand each other. I will come to you to see you." Beau said.

"When will that be? You rarely see me." Lyric asked.

Beau didn't say anything. He just walked away.

Lyric ran upstairs. I followed Lyric. She went to Beau's room. She started pulling a suitcase out.

"I thought he loved me." Lyric said crying.

"I think he still loves you. " I said as I watched Lyric put clothes into the suitcase.

"He's not the same Beau that I fell in love with. I remember how we used to be. We were so close." Lyric said as she zipped up the suitcase.

"He could always change." I said.

Lyric didn't say anything, just started walk towards the door.

"Where will you go?" I asked.

"I'm not sure." Lyric said as she put her wedding ring on Beau's dresser.

"I'll take you to a motel till my parents can find you a place to stay." I said as I picked up the suitcase. We went downstairs.

"Where are you going?" Mom asked.

"I'm going to take Lyric to a motel for now. Can you find her a place to stay?" I asked as I grabbed a pair of car keys.

"Sure. We will get you supplies and medicine as well, Lyric." Dad said.

"Thank you." Lyric said.

"I'm going to put your suitcase in the car." I told Lyric as I walked outside.

After a few minutes later, Lyric walked out to the car.

"What took you so long?" I asked as Lyric got in the car.

"I left Beau a note and thank your parents." Lyric said as I drove off.
