Y/N's point of view

Having arrived from work half an hour ago, I was sitting at my desk with my PC and the communicator prototype connected to it by a cable, I'm currently testing a program that I started doing earlier for it to test and calibrate its gyroscope and proximity sensors. I refer to it as a "communicator" as it currently doesn't have an official name yet. It has a half-elipsoid shape when not in use, but as soon as you put it on your wrist, it closes and becomes like a bangle, with screen covering the entire outer part of it.

I was doing that to be able to give more functions for it. Touching the screen is no problem, but to be able to do some hand gestures to control it was also a nice touch.

Y/N: OK, I think that should do it. Don't fail me this time!

I load the program on the communicator and put it on my wrist as it closes. It showed a cube that moved around depending on how I moved the device around and display a message when it recognized any kind of gesture that I added in the code.

...Or that's what I hoped that would happen. The cube was working fine but it seemed as the gyroscope wasn't exactly accurate all the time and, as for the gestures, the program displayed a blank message and crashed as soon as I did one.

Y/N: Ah, come on! Again? Ugh, I've been with this since I started working on it at work at noon, and it always crashes. At least now the cube works somewhat...

I rebooted the communicator and connected it back to the PC. When I was about to sit back at the chair, I heard the bell ringing. I looked at the time to be 7:55 PM, and remembered that Mayu told me that she'd be coming around 8.

I went to the door to open it, and indeed, it was Mayu, who smiled as soon as she saw me. She had a small pink backpack and a large green suitcase, like those that you take with you to the airport when going out for a long time.
