Y/N's point of view
I wake up to the sound of my phone's alarm clock. Since I don't know how early everyone gets up, I set the alarm for 10 AM. Not too early nor too late, by my standards. We still had our smartphones with us, but we'll probably have to put them in our bags, as they lost most of their functionality because they don't pick up any signal.
I notice that Mayu is sleeping next to me hugging my left arm, and she wakes up when I reach to turn off the alarm with my other arm.
Mayu: Good morning, Y/N~.
Y/N: Hey, Mayu. Did you sleep well?
Mayu: I did~, this bed is much bigger than the one we shared at your apartment.
Y/N: Well, that's true. Let's get changed and greet everyone.
Mayu: But we don't have other clothes, what do we do?
Y/N: We'll just have to use yesterday's clothes, I guess. I hope we earn enough money to buy at least one set of clothes after the quests we do today.
Mayu looked a little sad, but nodded, grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom to get changed. I also get changed in the room and we both come out and head to the living room, where Histoire was and greets us when we enter.
Histoire: Good morning Y/N-san, Mayu-san. Did you sleep well?
Y/N: Yeah, we did. The bed is pretty comfortable. By the way, where are the others?
Histoire: Well, Neptune usually doesn't get up until midday, but Nepgear should wake up soon. As for IF and Compa, they often come by at this hour before they head out to work.
Y/N: Oh, okay. I'm gonna be with my laptop trying something until they get here, then.
I pull out my laptop from my bag, plug it in and turn it on, with Mayu sitting next to me, probably knowing what I'm trying to do. I connect Jade's memory card that Nepgear gave me yesterday and try to boot from it, but when it tries, an error message shows up.
