The first thing you learned about UA was that it was massive. The main building alone was taller than any school you had ever seen! To be honest, it was kind of intimidating...
You had just determined which orientation room to go into when you bumped into a boy with shoulder-length black hair. He almost dropped the slip of paper he was holding as he spun around to face you. His soft crimson eyes met your (e/c) ones, and you offered up a small smile.
"Sorry about that. This place is a bit intimidating, isn't it?" You noticed he looked substantially more nervous than you did.
"Yeah, I was just trying to find out where I should go..." His voice was oddly confident for someone who looked so scared.
"Oh! It says which room you're in right here," You pointed to a small number on the ticket he was holding. "Actually, I think we're in the same room."
Digging your ticket out of your pocket, you confirmed your suspicions. "Yeah. On top of that, we're also in the same battle center, whatever that means."
"Interesting."
"Don't worry, I'll make sure not to get in your way!" You flashed him one last smile before slipping through the door and into the orientation chamber.
You ended up sitting directly behind a boy with spiky blonde hair, who looked very annoyed at something. You hoped he wasn't in your battle center, he seemed like the type to attack with reckless abandon.
All the lights lit up at once, pointing at a blonde man with very tall hair and some snazzy shades.
"Everybody say hey!" He shouted. Silence. You decided not to indulge him, even half heartedly, for fear the blonde firecracker would get mad at you.
He introduced himself as Present Mic, the Voice Hero. You wondered if it was short for Presentation Michael. He explained that you would be fighting robot villains in big mock cities, and every robot had a different point value. There was 1, 2, 3, and 0. Apparently, the zero-point ones were really big and hard to beat, so we shouldn't bother going after them. Suspicious, but whatever. It was against the rules to attack another examinee, so no need to worry about the angry guy, at least. Presentation Michael left off with a shout of "Plus Ultra!" and a very flashy graphic on the big screen.
You wrestled your way through a mass of fellow examinees on your way to battle center C, where you spotted the boy you bumped into earlier. You didn't want to accidentally distract him, so you focused on stretching out and shifting to your half-dragon form. The sounds of your joints popping and shifting probably wasn't overly pleasant, but there wasn't much you could do about it. You considered transforming fully, but you'd probably have to transform inside the mock-city, which would give you less time to earn points. Plus, you had no idea how narrow or wide the spaces between the buildings would be. What if you transformed and couldn't get around? No, it just made more sense to go halfway.
"Hey, are you alright?" It was the black-haired boy, gazing at you with concern.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. My joints pop when I shift," You grinned, showing off large fangs.
"I never got your name-" He was cut off by someone yelling "GO!"
"Well, that's our cue! See you later, hopefully!" You sprinted off before anyone else caught wind of the situation.

You had racked up about 43 points, and time was running out. You glanced around, spotting the black-haired boy tearing up a robot. What he didn't see, however, was the 2-point robot sneaking up behind him.
