The ground was wet with continuous rainfall. The sighing chill wind bumped over the top of the trees as it moved its boughs dancing back and forth with a whoosh. The small tea shops were crowded with people enjoying the hot snacks and masala tea sitting in the half drenched benches. Sun slowly peeked in through the clouds eliminating the greyish spread over the sky. The surrounding atmosphere turned fresh and humid as people roaming outside wrapped their hands around them inhaling the deep musky earth smell.

In one corner of the Agra city, Naina pushed the door to the balcony of her hostel room, standing under the gloomy sky as it washed over her body, the tip tap of drops palpating her heated skin. It reminded her about him, only him.

Her every breath was filled with his masculine scent even though they lives apart far from each other by heart. The decision of getting him married to someone was tough for her. She looked up at the sky muttering "Iam sorry Sameer, I dont have any other options.".

The small room felt much smaller than usual, the air surrounding it suppressing her with a pressure. And she felt hard to breath. Crying, She slid down to the floor hiding her face between her knees. The wall of the balcony was cold and clammy against her back that pricked her skin more with the deep pool of sorrow. She trembled, tears streaming down her round cheeks. when ever she tried to hold her tears back she failed immensely. The bond, care, the love, their laughter everything ached her with hollowness. The every seconds she spent with him were the most beautiful days of her life that she will carry with her forever. She missed him...A lot.

His laughter, his shimmering eyes that always had a tint of mischief and his flirty talks all were an indelible memory in her mind. His face was heavy in her heart, her body aching to fill her lungs with his smell. But she knew she was came far away from that, breaking up with him.

"I....I can't live without you...sameer, but I only decided it...I have to go away from you. But i can't.. because I love you sameer, i love you a lot...". The dull pain persisted in her every cells was too much for her to bare. She collapsed flat on the ground curling up to her self. Her hands shivered heart thumped rapidly and she sobbed harder.

She needs to be happy this time, owing to the fact that Sameer finally accepted her promise. But all she could do was crying in alone, trying to put up a fake smile on her face infront of others. The only place that heard her sorrow and pain was the bathroom of her hostel room, that too her inaudible cries muffling in the running water. How could she will be happy when all she think about was Sameer and his love for her. He wouldn't forgive her for this, she knew because she wouldn't forgive her own self for this mistake. Rather she did a sin breaking his heart and leaving him in misery with ruthless declaration of being separate. Her own words killing herself.

"Kyun...thumne aise kaha naina, kyunnn....?". She whined pulling her hair with a force. She felt the urge to run into his arms, hide her face in his chest and sob harder and harder until the broken pieces of her heart get fixed. But it wouldn't be happen. He will never look at her back and never love her same as he did, she had hurt him, Hurt him to the core that he will never forgive her. She curled up to her self whimpering.

Phone that kept on her table shrilled loudly making her startled with a sound. She knew who would be the caller at this time. Her heart pulsated rapidly against her chest with the thought of him. She stood up with the support of her hand, floundering towards it with great difficulty as her limbs turned weak, and feet cold. She was afraid to hear his voice. She knew that she will break down then and there, in the moment when his voice reach her ears.

Taking three deep breaths, she picked up the ringing phone, feeling her body tremble again.

"N....Naina.." His shaky voice reached her ears, the pain over days clearly visible in his voice. She felt her muscles clenching, and her hold tightening around the receiver.
