I felt my head fuzzy, fluid flowing from my head and carbon seeping through my nose. I could hear the police and ambulance sirens from the outside. I was drifting from consciousness and unconsciousness when I heard a bang on the door beside me, glass shards splattering around my face. "Nong, stay with us!" I heard someone exclaim near my ear as I felt a wrenching movement in my lower extremities before passing out.
"I don't want to undergo that stupid operation. Goddamnit, how many times should I repeat it so that it would be clear to you guys?!" I angrily exclaimed.
"Hey, hey." I turned away, not planning to even listen. "You should do that operation. We have a donor already." I heard but chose to ignore their words. "C'mon, get a grip."
"You know guys. Just leave. I want to rest." I pulled my sheets, covering my face trying to get them out of the room and to leave me alone. "Bright..." I heard them say, I bit my lips before sighing. "Guys. Please." I heard a deep sigh from the people inside the room. "We will be back."
Bright Vachirawit, I could say that I'm a rising young actor and a singer at twenty-two. I was doing so fine with my job. I was working hard and starting to reap what I was working hard for. But because of an accident, I adversely caused, I'm now asked to get the surgery. But I deserve this. It has been a few weeks since I've been admitted to recuperate. Then all of a sudden, they found someone as a donor and since then everyone's forcing me to do the transplant.
But I don't want to do it. I don't want to see everyone's disappointments of me because of everything that happened... I don't even want to see my miserable self and just want to stay the way I am - or would it be better to die? Yes, whatever you're thinking is right – the accident made a mess of my eyes and it made me technically blind.
I heard the door gently slammed close. I couldn't track their colognes away so I pulled the sheets off. I couldn't see anything but complete darkness; my eyes are bandaged after all.
/knock/
I woke up from my daydream and instantly turned when I heard a few knocks from the door followed by a soft creak. "Who's there?" I sternly asked, lifting my body up and went on a defensive stance, my fists clenched together, when I heard some soft, twinkle-steps. They were silent and soft, - like a girl. But I could smell something unfamiliar - a musky scent, manly cologne. I don't know this person and I'm pretty sure that this guy isn't a nurse or the doctor. "You're a girl?" I asked, phrasing it to look like a statement. I heard a sigh and a manly chuckle, which got me disappointed for a second. That's why he's wearing manly scented cologne.
"Uh. I'm sorry. I was just curious who were the nurse making a fuss." I heard him say, in an apologetic tone.
I sighed and dropped my guard, "So?" I sarcastically said annoyed when I realized how lenient the security of the hospital I am in - given that a patient could actually just come inside someone else's room with much freedom.
"Nah. What a letdown, you're just a normal patient." he disappointedly sighed, which was rather annoying. "I'm Win by the way." he went on rudely introducing himself.
I annoyingly sighed wanting to convey to him how bored I am and how I want him to leave me alone, "Do I need to introduce my name too? We won't meet again though." I felt my bed shake a bit, and a pair of smooth hands wrapping around mine after. "You need to. I am Win." He repeated.
