a small black butterfly tunnelled her vision, spreading its majestic pitch-black wings and fluttered away pestering her name around her ears repeatedly.
' go away ' the green eyed girl groaned in annoyance her hands swatting the insect away when a sharp pain across her forehead forced her to open her eyes and screech unholy profanities.
' took you long enough ' Davina Garcia, who had been crouching down on her knees, stood up and placed a mug of hot chocolate in front of Ilaria, and sat beside her with her own mug of chocolate.
Ilaria rubbed her eyelids, adjusting to her surroundings, the rain still hadn't stopped, and thunder streaked down from the dark sky in a harsh manner making her hair stand up goosebumps kissing her skin harshly. She was now at their apartment it seemed, as vague memories of Davina hurling Ilaria to their car was lingering in the back of her mind.
' since you've been working way too hard, I figured we could have a chill night, hot chocolate and movies ' the girl beside her started, a slight smile creeped up to her face as she glanced at her best friend, her sunlight hair now damp because of the rain, but managed to glow nonetheless.
' of course, have to enjoy life while it lasts right with my bestie only ' Ilaria winked and settled comfortably near Davina, as she wrapped the blanket that covered her body earlier around them both, each with their own mug of chocolate.
' what do you want to watch then? ' Davina asked, turning Netflix on and browsing through the website.
' let's binge watch Twilight ' she replied making Davina giggle as she put it on.
' you bet ' Davina mouthed as the opening credits came to life and the movie started

' COME ON JACOB COULD HAVE HAD HER NOT FUCKING EDWARD CULLEN ' Ilaria groaned when the movie came to an end as she went on to rant about how much of a pussy the writers were, and her friend rolled her eyes and replied
' WHAT NO FUCKING WAY ILARIA EDWARD DESERVES TO BE WITH BELLA NOT FUCKING JACOB BLACK! ' shaking her head, she stood up to get some more chocolate and snacks to eat while watching the remaining movies.
Ilaria shuddered and began surfing to find the next part, whistling a tune.
There were a diverse range of choices and she decided that they had enough time to watch 3 films max. After all, they both had no work tomorrow and had decided to go for another round of shopping, what better way to drink the night away with some more twillight right?
' have you found the movie? ' asked Davina now placing popcorn and two tubs of ice cream with refills of hot chocolate again ( something with her and hot chocolate, she really doesn't understand her at times but didn't bother complaining about it, they were killer drinks especially hers).
She came back with the tubs of ice cream giving Ilaria herself a coffee flavoured tub and Davina a rocky road one as they cuddled closer and began the start of a very eventful night of brain freezing and screams.
' i love you and all but seriously stop hogging the blanket by yourself, my feet are fucking freezing ' Ilaria commented, sarcasm dripping from every word which received a grand eye roll from Davina.
' ow ow major brain freeze ugh ' Davina groaned, squinting her eyes as a headache began to rise, and Ilaria' s giggles filled them both.
and such bickering went on and on till late into the night.
