Okay I finished the drawing, uh but it's gonna need a lil explaining because otherwise it looks like a vent but it's not.
So a while ago I had an idea for a series of portraits where a person is being killed by their worse fear, morbid I know, but I'd thought it'd be neat. However, I never did the idea because it's fucked up. But I was thinking of the series a few days ago and thought of something less fucked up; drawing people AS their fears, a fusion of sorts. Like I thought of Cali being moth like, then bug like because she is terrified of bugs. Then I got to thinking of what I would be combined with.
I had the idea for the dark, but an idea for the apocalypse hit me like a train. So I drew it. Twice.

Here is the first rendition. I didn't like it because it doesn't convey why I'm scared of the apocalypse; the fear of being alone, and not saying goodbye and everyone you care about dying before you can. That's why I'm scared of an apocalyptic scenario, that's what most of my nightmares consist of anyways. This just didn't cut it. So I tried again a few days later and I like it wayyyyyy more. Fair warning, there is blood.

Fuckkkkk I like this one. The colors are more consistent and the vibe is immaculate. I just,,,,,, like it ya know. The dark one is definitely not gonna be as detailed, I guess.
