"If you will be given a chance to make a wish, and that wish will come true, what would it be?" my friend, Marcus, asked while we were pacing the field in our campus.

"To die. I want to be gone, just as how we take a look at people in a crowd, and suddenly, they get lost," I exhaustingly replied. He swiftly swung his head to me in disbelief, and gave me a distraught look.

"O-of all things? Why that?" A skepticism was raised, his expression revealed sorrow.

"There seemed to be countless problems, and I can't bear it anymore. That kind of feeling when you wake up every single day - yeah, you're just physically there - but deep down your core, it's like your soul has already departed away. Already surrendering itself. I'm tired." My voice broke when I said the last two words.

"You? How about you? What's your wish?" I asked the same question in abruption, concealing the tears that is already in the corner of my eyes before I couldn't hold on.

"I..." he began.

I was confused, his face now blankly staring at nothingness. He fell silent. A second skipped a beat. He, now looked at me, and said...

"-I wish to live again."
