(Little disclaimer I was writing this with only 3 hours of sleep so sorry if it doesn't make sense)

3rd person POV
Tanjiro and Kanao walk into the restaurant and grab a seat. Tanjiro was making small talk while Kanao was giving short answers. "Hey, Kanao what made you stop using your coin?" Tanjiro looked at Kanao waiting for an answer. To Tanjiro's surprise Kanao blushed and looked away "you" she mumbled. "Me?" Tanjiro questioned "um I have to use the bathroom." Quietly Kanao got up and walked towards the bathroom.

Kanao POV
I turned on the water and splashed it onto my face. 'Why are you so dumb, just talk.' I took a deep breath turned off the sink and walked out. As I sat down I asked "How have you been?" Tanjiro looked surprised but answered "good, how's your sister?" Kanao didn't know how to answer but just quietly mumbled "good." There was an awkward silence.

When "GONPONGIRO IS THAT YOU?" It was Inosuke "oh hi Inosuke." Tanjiro replied calmly. "I-I should go." I stated starting to get up, but I felt a warm hand on my wrist. "Hey your not bailing on my are you?" Tanjiro asked, I just stood there like an idiot. 'He wants me to stay?' I thought to myself. At that point I was already out of the booth, in one swift motion Tanjiro pulled me into the booth next to him.

"GONPONGIRO- wait ARE YOU TWO ON A DATE!" I felt my face turning red so I turned to Tanjiro to figure out what to say but, 'WAIT WHAT HE'S STILL SMILING.' "Um hello earth to gonpongiro?" Inosuke said while waving his hand in front of Tanjiro's face. "Tanjiro... Tanjiro!" He looked back at Kanao "hmm what happened?" He responded "UGH ARE YOU 2 ON A DATE OR NOT!" Inosuke yelled. "Shhh were in public and no Kanao and I are just catching up." Tanjiro answered Inosuke's question. I was relived but at the same time sad 'what's this feeling it's like I wanted it to be a date?' As I was thinking I realized it was past my curfew "Crap Crap Crap sorry guys I got to go my sisters gonna kill me!" Then I realized I was talking just naturally talking 'I'm so happy' "do you want me to walk you home?" Asked Tanjiro "I'm fine I responded "it wasn't really a choice." Tanjiro chuckled. Next thing I know we're walking out together.

Tanjiro POV
I feel weird like I want to be around her, my stomach felt weird. I had a weird temptation to hold her hand. 'What's happening?' So I decided to try something I brushed my hand against hers. I looked up and she looked like SHE WAS ABOUT TO FAINT. She snapped out of it and ran ahead "Hey are you okay?" She nodded and continued to speed walk so I ran towards her and grabbed her hand "Hey slow down will you?" Kanao calmed down and slowed down.

Hi guys just to clear some things up when words are in 'these' it's what the character is thinking and I hope y'all like this chapter!
