General P.O.V

They all gathered around the large television, sitting in conveniently placed couches. Rachel found herself sitting next to Kurt and Mercedes.

"Wait," she said out loud, feeling the urge to speak, "How do we begin watching?"

Everyone started looking around until Rachel stage-whispered a 'A-ha', signaling that she had found the remote. She then clicked the play button and a video began.

Loud music and laser sound effects began.

This caused everyone to jump in their seats.

The scene showed a high powered Cheerios practice, where Sue was going off on insults. "You think this is hard ,"she said, try being water-boarded. That's hard."

Brittany, Santana and Quinn all felt a cold tingle down their spine when they remembered this. The others felt the need to massage their scalps.

Then the scene cut to black and showed on word on it; glee. The next cut showed a run down blue car which Mr. Shue was driving. The camera panned to a group of boys hanging around a dumpster and one very young Kurt.

Kurt flinched as he knew what was coming up.

Blaine, oblivious, was thinking about how cute Kurt looked.

Santana raised her eyebrows, " Wow, didn't you hit puberty." Everyone laughed, although Puck and Kurt's' were strained.

"Make some new friends Kurt?" Mr. Shue asked oblivious to the fear in the young boys eyes.

"Whoa, hollup!" said Mercedes. "Mr. Shue is right there and he didn't notice anything?" Kurt shrugged. No one used to notice back then.

Blaine, sitting next Kurt, frowned and gave Kurt a confused glance.

"Notice what?" he asked. Kurt sighed, shrugged again and gestured towards the screen.

Mr. Shue passes the boys as Puck says,"He sure is, Mr. Schue."

Mr. Shue continues to talk, "Hey, Finn, you still owe me that report on que hace el verano pasado."

Everyone sighed when they saw Finn. Rachel rested her head on Mercedes' shoulder who rubbed her back comfortingly.

Finn looking confused asked,"what?"

Mr. Shue gives him a knowing look and states, "What you did last summer."

Finn sheepishly states, "Almost halfway done with almost all of it, Mr. Schue."

Everyone laughed at that, although Kurt still looked troubled.

As Mr. Shue leaves, Puck turns around and tells Kurt,"Its hammer time."

Kurt quietly protests," Please, this is from Marc Jacobs' new collection!"

Finn feeling a sense of pity says," Wait." The jocks release Kurt, for a moment. He takes off his jacket and hands it to Finn. Then he is promptly tossed into the dumpster behind them.

Blaine, begins to glare at Mike and Puck. But Then he looks down and sees Kurt's pleading eyes on him and decides not to say anything... for now. The rest look pretty upset but don't say anything either.

The scene cuts to Mr. Shue standing in front of the trophy case. He seems to be admiring a first-place trophy that WMHS won at the 1993 Show Choir Championships. Next, he looks at a plaque awarded to LILIAN ADLER (1937-1997) with the quote "By its very definition, Glee is about opening yourself up to joy."
