Pucks P.O.V

Puck wasn't happy. Less than 24 hours ago he was pumping iron at the base in Chicago. Then he was informed by his deputy that an old woman was there to meet him. At first he thought it was his mother, which was weird cause she didn't spend a dime to visit him on Christmas. But he knew that freaking red tracksuit anywhere. Sue led him away from the base, to an old café, and  then proceeded to knock him out. He was both humiliated and slightly turned on.

Then he watched a stupid documentary on his life back at McKinley. After apparently watching 40 mins of episode one (where he was hardly featured, by the way), he tried to talk to Quinn. Quinn was upset. No what was that word Mike had taught him. Like sad and upset together? Ah yes, distraught. Seeing Finn had triggered something within her and Puck couldn't figure it out. 

They had tried the long distance thing, but it had strained their relationship. And now even though she was distraught, she wouldn't talk to him or anyone. So when they all sat around the TV for the second time, instead of talking to her, he held her. He slowly wrapped his arm around her and pulled he close. Brittany seemed to realize that Quinn was upset as well. So, she rested her head on Quinn's shoulder giving her moral support. 

Rachel pressed play. 

The scene opened to McKinley's parking lot. Shuester's old car with it's horrible exhaust was first spotted. As he parked the car the number plate read 'Glee'.

This earned a couple of snorts around the room.

"God, Mr. Shue's a geek," said Santana as she rolled her eyes. She was sitting next to Brittany as always.

"Hey, Sanny," said Brittany," isn't more like gleek?" And the she promptly burst into giggles at her own joke. This resulted in a smile from Quinn, and Brittany looked pleased with herself. 

As Mr. Shue exited his car, Rachel can be seen approaching him. 

"Mr. Schuester!" she called out.

God her voice used to be so annoying back then. 

"Yeah?" said Mr. Shue. 

"I went to the library and I got some sheet music, and I wanted to run some songs by you that feature me heavily on lead vocal."

"Chessus girl, how are you less annoying now?" asked Mercedes sarcastically. For this she was met with a round of agreeing noises and a blushing Rachel. 

"Thanks, Rach, but I already got one picked out."

"Go Mr. Shue!" cheered Santana. Rachel glared at her. Puck found this highly amusing. 

Finn appears at Rachel's side, reaching out to wheel her schoolbag for her. Mr. Shue falls behind.

"Let me help you with that," Finn says to Rachel. 

Rachel looks at Finn with adoring eyes and says," Thanks, Finn. You're so chivalrous."

Finn looks baffled at that.

"Thanks. That's a good thing, right?"

Puck sighed, missing the obliviousness of his best friend.

He felt Quinn smile next to him and heard Brittany giggle.

The camera pans back to Mr. Shue, who greets Tina, Artie and Mercedes. Mercedes says that they were practicing runs. Mr. Shue tries it along with them.
