I walked up to the rooftop. I was sitting on the edge, holding a razor. It was small and I began to cut and tear at my skin with it. There were maybe fifteen across both wrists and I watched the blood fall. I noticed it head down the building and I could imagine them thinking "How did blood fall from the sky?" Of course, I was going to end it all soon. There was a backpack on the roof, that's when I stood up. Such a strange thing to notice. But it was then that the door slammed open. I didn't look back.

3rd person POV

"Shoto. Get away from the ledge."

"Why should I?" The other boy activated his quirk.

"Move away from the ledge and come here." Todoroki obliged and soon was at Shinso's feet. He released him. Shoto looked stunned then realized what happened.

"Why?"

"Why what?!" Shinso snapped back. The boy flinched, causing Shinso to feel intense guilt.

"Why save a lost cause?!"

"You're not a lost cause."

"Yes I am. I'm broken."

"Shattered."

"Fine, what's the difference anyway."

"I can help fix you up. I can help you pick up the pieces. But I'm taking you to my father." (Some lines are from "Broken Beyond Fixing"!) Shinso grabbed Shoto before suddenly noticing the cuts. "Why...?"

"I told you. I can end it all." Shinso then took Shoto to Aizawa and Mic.

"Hey kidd- TODOROKI YOUR WRISTS!" Hizashi shouted out, causing Aizawa to run down the steps.

"Todoroki. Did you do those?" Shoto just nodded and looked away. Aizawa ran back to grab a first aid kit. He returned later then wrapped his wrists. "Shinso, how did you find him...?"

"He was going to jump off the roof."

"WHAT?!" Hizashi shouted, receiving a slight amount of fear in Todoroki's eyes.

"Shoto, we're here for you every step of the way. Come to us when you're down." Aizawa comforted him. Todoroki shook slightly before embracing himself in the hug.

"Why?"

"Shoto we care about you."

"My father would never approve of this. He's been neglecting us again..." The room went silent as Shoto rambled about the abuse he was put through and how he wanted to end it all. He started to cry, a sight thought to never be seen, but he was slightly panicked when his phone buzzed. He picked it up, "Father? Okay... I understand... HEY! AIZ-"

"Endeavor. Lay your hands on Todoroki and I will remove you from the hero rankings."

"SHOTO TODOROKI!" The three noticed the harsh flinch at the aggressive tone, "COME HOME RIGHT THIS INSTANT! TRAINING ROOM! YOU UNDERSTAND?!"

"Y-yes..." The call ended before Todoroki ran out of the room, causing the two adults and child to follow after him. Todoroki opened the door before getting slammed against a wall. Mic and Eraserhead where stunned and Shinso soon caught up to them. The two were inside fighting Endeavor as Mic tried to get Shoto out of the house. Shinso ran in to get Shoto before he noticed the condition Shoto was in. Bruised face, bloody nose and torn scar tissue. Aizawa arrested Endeavor and Shinso ran over to his classmate, who was crying while blood rolled down his face. Soon, Shoto was asleep in Shinso's lap as they headed home.

Home. A new start for Shoto, where he could feel a real childhood.
