Chapter 13: Nightly Forest Walk

Not very much has Happened since The Others came back from the Holidays. They learned some more easy Spells and charms like the Wand-lightening Charm Lumos and its counterpart Nox but everything else was just Taking notes and Homework. One day they where all in the Library as Hermoine came with a rather Big book and she dropped it onto the table. "I Lended this book months ago for some light reading and i think i saw the name Nikolas Flamel in there." They starred at the Ginormous thing of Book. "Light reading?" Ron and Jack said at almost the same time. Hiccup was too caught up in the Book he got for Christmas. Hermoine wanted to read it once but was Disapointed that it was in runes. She opened it, Turned a few pages and then stopped. "Here!" Hermoine exclaimed "Nikolas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher stone!" They looked at each other and pretty much said at the same time "The What?" Hermoine just rolled her eyes and read the Page "The Philosopher stone is said to give a Person an Unlimited Lifespan as long as the Stone Exists."

"Hold on" Merida stopped Hermoine "a Stone can't give an Unlimited lifespan it's just Impossible!" She said outloud. "Merida, we are inside a Gigantic Castle that is supossed to be a School for Children with Magic." Hiccup said. "One of the Students in Hufflepuff is a Goat like Monster that can talk normaly with us." Jack contenued the Conversation. "And don't Forget that one of our teachers is a Skeleton." Rapunzel added. "We Defeated a Troll in the Girls Bathroom." Ron exclaimed. "And I Caught a Golden ball with my Mouth on a Broomstick." Harry ended. Merida looked really annoyed and just gave in "Alright alright it is Possible! Happy?" She said in a defeated tone. "Anyways" Hermoine Contenued reading "The Only Stone ever created is in the Hands of the creator, Nikolas Flame himself who last year celebrated his 650th Birthday." Everyones mouths dropped at that info. "So this is what this Fluffy is protecting?" Jack asked. "Yes and that is what snape wants." Hermoine exclaimed. 

In the night the Seven of them rushed to Hagrids cabin to talk to him about the Philosopher stone. Hagrid opened the door and said that he didn't have time for visitors but let them in anyways when they mentioned the stone. Once inside they said that snape wants to steal the stone but he reasures that he wants to Protect the stone when suddenly a noise came from the pot behind him and Hagrid took out a Big golden egg. "What is that?" Everyone exept Ron asked "I Know what that is but how did you get one?" Ron asked just bout when Hagrid is going to say where he got it from it hatched. Everyones eyes widened when they saw what had hatched, a Dragon. Even though Hiccup was with Dragons all the time he never seen one looking like this, he thought So there are Dragons everywhere and even more than in the Book of Dragons? The Dragon kind of set Hagrids beard on Fire when he suddenly sees a Student on his Window, it was Draco. They all got back in only to run into McGonagel and Draco in the hallway. McGonagel set all eight of them to Detention with hagrid who was sad that the Dragon had to leave. Hagrid took his Crossbow, a Lamp and his dog Fang and got into the forest with them.

They walked for a bit and then stopped infront of a silver puddle in wich Hagrid dipped hisFingers into it. "See This" he said showing The silver liquid the eight of them. "This is Unicorn blood and the reason we're out here." He wipped his Finger on his cloak "We are going to split up into two groups. Harry, Ron, Hermoine and Malfoy are going with me. The Others can Protect themself when their in minor danger." He Looked directly at the four. "But if you see something that could possibly have hurt or even Killed the Unicorn, Do. Not. Approach. It! You are going staight back to me, Understood?" They nodded and then left with the Lamp into the Dark forest.

They walk and talk for a bit until they hear something nearby. "What was that" Rapunzel snapped "I don't know, but it sounds big." said Merida a bit scared. They looked arojund a Big tree to find a Big Scally Winged beast with its back turned to them. A Monsterous Nightmare? Hiccup thought but i thought they only existed in the Archipelligo! Merida Suddenly smiled and walked towards the Beast with her Wand out. "No Merida come Back! Hagrid told us not to Approach whatever might have Killed the unicorn!" Jack said loud enought for Merida to hear it.

"But it doesn't see us and it won't Notice me if it all goes well." Merida snapped quiet. The Others pulled their wands out just in case. Suddenly the Large Reptile turned arround facing Merida eye to Something that should have been its eyes. Its "Eyes" where Pitch Black and some kind of smoke seemed to come from them. It Raised one of its Wings/Arms to swing its Mighty Hooked claws at her. "Petrificus totalus!" Three blueish Sparks shot at the Dragon and Petrified it when it was about to slash at Merida. "We Have to go The spell won't hold for long" Jack Grabbed Meridas Wrist and wanted to run of but in that Moment it Became alive again and got Jack by his Arm baddly. The Mighty Creature rose its head and it filled with a green gas about to Spit Fire at Merida and the wounded Jack. "Incendio!" Hiccup aimed for the Mensters mouth as he said the Spell and lit up the Gas befor it was used by the beast. It Screamed in aggony and flew of.

They all came to Jack who was Badly injured and lost a lot of blood alredy. They all thought that he isn't going to make it but then Rapunzel said "I know how to help him!" Merida and Hiccup looked at her with tears in their eyes as she Unbraided her hair and wrapped them arround Jacks arm. "Please don't freak out." She said as the other two looked at her with a mixture of Sadnes and Confusion when she Started to sing.

Flower, gleam and glow          Let your power shine         Make the clock reverse        Bring back what once was mine

Meridas and Hiccups eyes Widened as her hair seemed to glow Golden as she contenued.

Heal what has been hurt         Change the Fate's desing           Save what has been lost

All the Blood that is arround them seemed to flow back to Jacks arm.

As Rapunzel finnished singing her hair stopped to glow and when she unwrapped Jacks arm it looked like nothing Happened at all. Both of their Jaws dropped because on what they just witnissed. "Merida!  Hiccup! Rapunzel!  Jack!" They heard Hagrid screaming. "Please don't tell him what happened." Rapunzel asked the two of them and they nodded. They carried Jack to the Others and said the had a Minor inconvenience with some Hostile plants. In The Gryphendore Common room Merida heard how Harry, Ron and Hermoine discussed something about a certain Voldemort and how he is in the Forest living of Unicorns. She didn't think much of it and went to sleep. The naxt day they told Jack what has Happened in the forest and how it's a Secret between them.
