There, under the umbrella, you'll see two little kids deep in slumber. The boy hugging the frail little girl in his arms, as if, even in sleep, afraid someone will snatch her from him.

The two may not be losing each other but they are losing track of something... Time!

It's 4:00 pm back to the Hillstone's residence and Carmen and Winston, Thalia's parents, we're bickering. Both in panic that their little girl was missing.

Winston was devastated when he came home early to surprise his family only to see it empty. Then came in his wife with no rational reasoning of why she let her daughter out without saying where she's heading.

Winston called on to his friends asking if they've seen Thalia or if she's out with the kids but none of them noticed the five year old girl.

"Oh my God! My poor baby! "

Carmen dabbed the corner of her eyes while fanning herself dramatically.

"Call the police or keep contacting our friends, I'll check the campsite."

"Dear, it'll be dark soon! Find my baby girl."

"Get a hold of yourself, Carmen!"

He snapped. He knew this is his wife's fault and now his daughter is missing.  Winston would rather die than to never see her daughter again.

He ran into the forest, shouting Thalia's name. Reaching the campsite, his heart lounded in fear when he did not see his daughter.

"Where are you, Thalia? Damn it!"

He wandered around, more hasty. His mouth shouting her name while his brain keeps on praying that his daughter is out there, in someone else's home, not here in the dimming forest.

As if on que, his eyes landed on a wooden house. His heart pounded in hopes that whomever lives there have his daughter safely tucked.

"Hello? Someone in here?"

He knocked, once, twice, thrice but it looks abandoned.

"I need your help! Hello! Open up, please!"

Finally! The door was opened by an old lady who seems to have just woken up.

"Who are you? What do you need?"

She asked straight away. She's not happy that her sleep was disturbed especially when the medicine she took still made her feel a bit dizzy.

"M-my daughter's missing and she c-could be in here, in the forest. You might've seen her."

Dahlia wanted to snort. Poor lad, there's little to none chances that her daughter's still alive.

"You should've called the police, young man. The forest is nobody's friend. One morning it's enchanting, then when night time comes, it changes into one deceiving animal. It pounces on anyone... Man, woman... Kids?"

Winston broke down in tears. The surrounding's already dark. Dahlia sighed, rolling her eyes. She's not fond of the drama.

"why don't you come in and use the telephone to contact the police. I'm sure they'll fetch you here and help you look for your daughter..."

She opened the door for the man and he oblige.

"or whatever remains of her..."

She whispered. Deciding to make a cup of tea to calm the impending headache.

Winston picked up the phone, informing the police as well as his wife that he's in the forest and the chances that his daughter could be lost inside the woods too.
