Dave Farellson had enjoyed this trip to the island of Kauai, Hawaii so far. Beautiful weather, beautiful mountains, and the beautiful ocean. He and his wife, Clarisse, were driving their rented Ford Mustang down the highway at night, when two dark figures, one carrying a weapon, came racing out of the trees. The person being pursued turned and tried to fight the pursuer. There was a brief struggle, and then the pursuer shoved away its victim, and raised his gun.
