home from Manhatten!

Hollies Pov:

It was the night before I moved back to Philly after 8 years when I was 7 I decided I wanted to start acting so my grandma decided it would be best if I moved to Manhatten where there was an acting job open so I moved down there and ever since then I've been getting more acting jobs but not long after some singing gigs came up and they wanted me to perform at this club, it was fun but I miss my family and I think its time I go home and go to school instead of being homeschooled.

narraters pov:

  " Are you sure you want to move back to Philadelphia?" Hollies grandma asked as she put the last picture in the suitcase

" Yes Nan, plus its mine and Corys birthday tomorrow and we haven't been in the same place for it for almost 9 years now I miss it," Hollie said as she zipped the suitcase up, she looked up to her nan to see her staring at her with an expression that's hard to read.

"I know you miss it sweetheart but what if more singing jobs appear also this letter came through its for a new movie they're making and they want you to be the lead role," Bernice said as she got the letter from out her pocket and made her way towards Hollie.

" no grandma I don't want to as much as it will be fun and pay a lot I just wanna go home and see my family," Hollie answered as she took the letter from her Grandma's hand and threw it in the trash can. She looked up at her grandma to see a shocked look on her face, she just carried on packing as Bernice just shook her head in disappointment

"but Leonardo Dicaprio is flying in from LA for this movie" as soon as Bernice said this Hollie dropped her bag on the floor

"I'm sorry I don't think I heard u properly did you just say Leonardo Dicaprio as in Jack Dawson of the titanic Leo" Hollie said well practically shouted

"yes I did," Bernice said in hope that this will make her stay but Hollie glanced at the picture of her family and shook her head, she look up at her grandma and thought for a long time before she continued to pack

"what why are you still packing dear," Bernice said confused, Hollie looked up at her and made an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry nan but I have to go back home and see my family as much as I would love to stay and be in a movie with the amazing, fit Leo I have to go home and spend time with my family like I've said it been about 9 years since I've seen them properly and just want to stay with them and go to school, make new friends that won't ditch you after they get a new movie offer and get new friends," Hollie said kinda ranting a bit but her grandma understood and nodded before helping Hollie finish packing.

Hollies Pov:

It was 4:30 am the next day when my alarm went off. As I went to turn it off and sleep for the next 1hour or so I remember that today I was driving up to Philly. well, I want driving but my nan was gonna drive me up there. we woke up early because it's a long drive from Manhatten to Philly and I wanted to be there just in time for when the family woke up anyway I went to get dressed.

I left out an outfit for me to wear on the ride to Philly. when I was done getting ready I looked at myself in the mirror. Can't wait till nan sees this outfit she'll be like "what do you think you have on young lady that is too revealing blah blah blah" Hollie said imitating her nan

" yes young lady that is definitely to revealing," my nan said as she walking into the room shaking her head in disapproval "go change," my nan said pointing to the wardrobe.
