Mallory Betterton
I know you better than them
At least I think I do
I've only known you since August
But your pure heart is flawless
I can't imagine my family doing to me what they are to you
Blaming you for something that just isn't true
You with the red scars on your hips
Because it's too hard to hide your wrists
You deserve better than this
And I just wish...
I could do something to save you
I never knew that family could be so cruel
You are a rare pink jewel
And you are only pink because I know that's your favorite color
You can't be substituted for another
Or locked away inside a crazy bin either
Do you think none of us will miss you?
We are your friends, your crew
Even if you are shipped off to Danville
It's only over the hill, we can visit
Your own Grandmother kicked you out of the house based on lies
Kerri, Tiffany, and I can still hear and see you cry
We are here for you
Mallory Betterton
Because we do know you better than them
