"Cassidy!" Layla and Warren exclaimed simultaneously as they spotted Cassidy standing outside, accompanied by Ron Wilson, who had successfully prevented Stitches from driving off with the infants.

Layla and Warren stumbled slightly as they approached Cassidy, both still regaining their footing after the catastrophic event that had nearly sent Sky High plummeting to the ground.

Warren quickly reached Cassidy, and before enveloping her in a tight embrace, he took a moment to carefully inspect her for signs of injury. Concern for her safety etched itself onto his face as he searched for any visible harm.

"I'm fine," Cassidy assured Warren, prompting him to let out a sigh of relief. She then admitted, "Gwen...just wanted me to somehow talk her out of doing this."

Warren's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he listened intently.

Cassidy continued, "She knew my parents from back in school, and she told me they were the only ones who treated her like she wasn't insignificant."

Will Stronghold, who was about to unload the infants from the bus, paused in his tracks after overhearing Cassidy's words. A mix of surprise and curiosity painted his features as he asked, "Is that what Gwen said?"

Cassidy turned her attention to Will, nodding slightly in confirmation at his question.

Cassidy looked down and nodded her head. "She was once Sue Tenny—someone who never had the chance to prove her own strength. So, my sympathy lies mainly in the past. But now, she is Gwen, and I cannot speak for her current actions, no matter how much I feel for her former self."

Cassidy lifted her head and sighed heavily. "I told her I couldn't stop her because she has made up her mind. She is resolute on redoing something she failed at the first time."

Magenta, Ethan, and Zach soon rejoined the group, immediately enveloping Cassidy in a barrage of affection and hugs. Despite her protests that she was older, the trio gleefully ignored her pleas, continuing to shower her with their affections.

Several hours passed as the teenagers collectively worked to unload the babies from the buses. The weight of the situation hung heavily in the air until Layla finally spoke up, courageously voicing the words that no one dared to utter.

Layla's voice trembled with dread as she posed the question, "Now what?" All the teenagers turned to each other, exchanging uncertain glances.

Will, his shoulders slumped in defeat, shrugged in response. "Beats me," he echoed, mirroring the collective sense of helplessness and uncertainty.

"Perhaps I could be of assistance," Cassidy jumped in fright, startled by a squeaky voice that came from behind her as she handed a baby to Magenta and Zach. Turning back, she shot the source of the voice a glare, hearing Warren snicker.

"Watch it, Peace," she whispered, as the teens gathered around the infant in Warren's arms.

"It should only take me a couple of hours to reconfigure the Pacifier," the infant Mr. Medulla explained. He turned to Warren and requested, "Mr. Peace, would you please carry me to the Mad Science Lab?"

Warren nodded, still in awe of the baby before him. "Sure," he replied with a hint of unease.

"And, Mr. Peace," the infant went on, its tiny voice filled with seriousness.

"Yeah?" Warren responded, still marveling at the sight of an infant speaking in a dignified tone.

"Regrettably, I have made boom-boom," the infant Mr. Medulla announced. Cassidy immediately stifled a laugh, murmuring "Instant karma" to Warren, who shot her a disapproving glare in return.

The other teenagers instinctively stepped away from Warren, their faces betraying a mix of sympathy and a silent plea not to ask them to deal with the situation.

Cassidy offered her support by patting Warren's back, her voice filled with empathy, "Don't worry, I'll help, but from a respectful distance. You've got the changing duties."

Together, the couple walked towards the school, with Warren carefully carrying Mr. Medulla in his arms.

"Exquisite words from an excellent student, Ms. Crane," the teacher remarked, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

Cassidy picked up her pace to take a peek at the infant, slightly taken aback by the unexpected compliment. "Pardon, sir?" she repeated, seeking clarification.

"You're absolutely right. Ms. Tenny does deserve sympathy, and it's better late than never. As for Ms. Grayson, she undoubtedly made the same mistake, but I have a feeling that her motives this time around were somewhat different," the teacher remarked, expressing his own perspective on the matter.

Cassidy looked down, surprised that the teacher had overheard her conversation in the gym.

"You heard what I said in the gym," she stated.

The teacher nodded, his eyes meeting hers with a gentle smile. "Yes, and I still think what you said was incredibly spot-on. You've confronted something you've hidden behind all this time," he confirmed, acknowledging her bravery.

"I have? What is that?" Cassidy inquired curiously.

Mr. Medulla offered her a smile and replied, "You've finally managed to step out of your parents' shadow."

Warren, still holding baby Mr. Medulla, couldn't help but smile at the insightful words. His lips curved into a knowing smirk, and soon, Cassidy found herself mirroring his expression, caught up in the moment.
