background: is a hard hitter and like most others on this page nanto is skilled in hand to hand combat through the atlas army/academy. he was experimented on by the atlas government to make him a super soldier and it worked his semblance was enhanced and moreover he had better reflexes and yes he did volunteer to be experimented on so his sister wasn't alone .he was loyal to atlas till a mission that happened that he went with on his sister and they left her behind to fend for herself. ever since he trained himself to fight the government that he would have once worked for training in various villages in different martial arts and to hone his semblance and create his weapon "the moon's edge ". in that time he decided to get revenge and fight the government back. that was until he saw his sister alive again.... he let himself get captured and he was going to be tried for treason and possibly executed if it was not for general james ironwood he somehow persuaded atlas officials to pardon nanto of his cromes the officials wanted to exile nanto but ironwood had other plans to send nanto to beacon as to give him a second chance.
Weapon: Moons edge was a sword that nanto made on his adventure having three forms which it can take.it in addition to its melee form. nanto much like ruby uses powerful sniper rounds to amplify his attacks and boost his mobility. the three melee forms are as follows.
this is the base form of naoto's sword intended only to knock out or bludgeon people. the non-leathal form of this weapon that he uses all the time to restrain himself its not a sharpened sword in fact it has a blunt edge.
